-We lost with the A's last night and we are coming right back with them today. The A's have still won 7 of 9 and today they start RHP Mitch Spence who has a nice road record of 2-2 with a 2.36 ERA! Meanwhile, the Pirates have lost 10 of 12 and are simply not hitting scoring just 33 run in their last 16 games (an avg of 2.94 runs per game). Today, they start RHP Mike Burrows who is 2-3 at home with an ERA of 4.03 and got shelled his last time out by the Nats, giving up 4 ER's in 4 IP, with pttsburgh taking the loss. Furthermore, Burrows is 0-1 with a 4.54 ERA during the day. Play the A's today

-Cleveland comes into this game today on a 10-0 run and winners of 14 of their last 15! In addition, they are 8-2 last 10 head-to-head vs the Twins! Today, Cleveland starts RHP Joey Cantillo who has been red-hot as of late. first off his splits: He is 5-2 overall this year with an ERA of 3.27 and 3-1 with an ERA of 2.89! BUT.....here's the kicker: In Cantillo's last 3 starts, he is 2-0 allowing 2 ER's on 13 hits in 19 IP for an ERA of 0.95! Meanwhile, the Twins have lost 5 in a row and 14 of 19! Today, they start Simeon Woods-Richardson who in his last 4 starts has given up 11 runs with 23 base runners in 19 2/3 IP for an ERA of 5.03! In addition, the Twins have scored 2 runs so far in 3 games of this series including being shutout in both game of a doubleheader yesterday! Im not about to hop off this money-train just yet. Today, they start RHP Eury Perez who after a rough patch, has gone 2-0 in his last 2 outings giving up 3 ER's on just 8 hits, 0 walks and 0 HR's in 10 2/3 IP for an ERA of 2.53 while striking out 13! Meanwhile, Texas has lost 6-straight and start RHP Merrill Kelly who in his last 2 starts has given up 9 ER's on 19 hits, 2 HR's in just 8 2/3 inning pitched for an ERA of 9.35. However, he is even better on the road with an ERA of 2.25. He has absolute awesome current form, going going 4-0 (and his team going 6-0 when he starts) in his last 6 starts with an ERA of 1.47! In addition, in 3 of those 6 games, he has struck out 10 or more batters and shutout 3 of his opponents. Today, he faces the D-backs who are just 78-77 on the season and start LHP Eduardo Rodriguez who is just 8-8 overall with an ERA of 5.12! He has just an ERA of 5.56 and in his last outing he was rocked for 5 ER's on 8 hits in 5 IP, for an ERA of 9.00! Play the Phillies today SU and on the R/L

-I'm going to be real brief with this one. This total is a run too low. Nats Pitcher Jake Irvin has an ERA of 8.74 his last 5 starts with his last 4 starts going over the total of 8' while Sean Manaea has an ERA of 7.43 his last 5 appearances and has gone over the total of 8' in 10 of last 11!!
