Atlanta (Strider) -135 over Miami (Alcantara)
-The Braves have the best record in the NL standing at 34-16 including 18-8 on the road, Tonight, they start RHP Spencer Strider whose team is 3-0 in 3 of his starts this year with an ERA of 2.47. He is 2-1 his last 3 starts vs Miami with a paltry ERA of 1.25 while striking out 25 in 21 2/3 IP. Meanwhile, the Marlins start RHP Sandy Alcantara who has had an up and down season thus far. In his last 3 home starts, he is 0-1 with an ERA of 7.06, In 2025, he was 1-2 in 3 start vs the Braves with an ERA of 5.00. In addition, the Marlins are just 22-28 and have lost 2-straight and 4 of 6. Play the Braves tonight..............

-Oakland came from behind to beat the Angels last night and now, at 25-24 are in sole possession of first place in the AL West, while the Angels are 17-33, by far the worst record in baseball. They are just 9-15 at home and 10-21 vs teams above .500. They also have lost 8 of their last 10 games. Starting for the A's is Luis Severino who is in nice current form with an ERA of 3.00 over his last 5 starts. Severino is 0-1 with an ERA of 3.38 and 37 strikeouts in 7 appearances versus the Angels in his career. Meanwhile, the Halos start RHP Jose Soriano who started out the season on fire going 6-0, but since then has gone 1-3 with a 6.14 ERA and 0-2 at home allowing 11 runs in 9 1/3 IP. Furthermore, in his last start vs the A's at home on 9/05/25 he took the loss giving up 8 runs on 10 base runners in just 2 1/3 IP. Play the A's tonight against the awful Angels.
