Seattle -126 (2x) and Over 7' (3x)
I handicapped this game through the ying-yang and AGAIN found myself leaning to the favorite! I just can't back Jack Flaherty is what it boils down to. Seattle comes into this game with the series tied 1-1 so this is a very pivotal game. Seattle comes into this game 7-1 in their last 8 road games and today starts RHP Logan Gilbert who was a decent 5-5 on the season with an ERA of 3.44! During the day, he was 3-1 with an ERA of 3.25. In 3 starts career vs Detroit, he gave up 8 ER's in 16 IP for an ERA of 4.50 with 2 of the 3 going over the total. In the 1 game in Detroit, he got the win in a 8-4 final, going way over the total. The Tigers, meanwhile, start RHP Jack Flaherty who had an abysmal season, going 8-15 with a 4.64 ERA. At home, he was slightly better but still not good, going 5-8 with an ERA of 4.58, giving up 15 HR's in just 92 2/3 innings pitched! In his last start, he took the loss, giving up 3 ER's in only 4 1/3 IP for an ERA of 6.28! In addition, he is 1-2 career vs Seattle with all 3 of those games over the total. Also, Flaherty's career playoff record is not good, going 2-5 with an ERA of 5.05 ERA, while Gilbert's playoff record is 1-0 with an ERA of 5.06! I'm basing 75% of this play and total on Flaherty's futility and I see Seattle winning handedly to take a 2-1 series lead. Play Seattle for a (2x) play and the over for a (3x) play.

-Gonna also take a shot at Seattle RL to further enhance my conclusion that the Mariners win this game going away. See write-up above!

Toronto +131 (2x) and Over 7' (3x)
-I'm going to take a chance that Toronto sweeps the Yankees tonight. I realize that New York is an outstanding 53-32 at home this season but is a negative proposition of -$735 in this role. The Jays have definately had the Yanks number this season, going 9-2 vs New York in head-to-head action and are coming off 2 playoff blowouts in games 1 and 2, outscoring them 23-8 and lighting up Max Fried in the process. Toronto has rattled off 6-straight games and outscored their opponents 61-16 in the process. The have also been a positive proposition of +$1902 on the season. I know that it is difficult going against Carlos Rodon and his 18-9 record but that is the chance that im going to take and I think the Jays are up for the task. Despite Rodon's record, he is 0-2 this season vs Toronto with an ERA of 5.40 giving up 19 baserunners in 10 innings pitched and in his last 2 starts, he has given up 6 ER's in 12 IP for an ERA of 4.50! In addition, the Jays hit .264 against lefties this season. Meanwhile, Toronto starts RHP Shane Bieber who is 4-2 this season in 7 starts with an ERA of 3.57. but in his last 4 starts he is 3-1 with an ERA of 3.13. In addition, he is 2-1 career vs the Yankees with an ERA of 2.61! As far as the total goes, these 2 teams average 10.20 runs per game and Rodon is 8-0 to the over in his last 8 home starts! Play Toronto to sweep the Yankees (2x) and play the over for (3x)
