-The Cincinnati Reds are one of the most improved teams this year clocking in with a record of 18-8. Tonight, they send RHP Chase Burnes to the mound who is 3-0 this year at home with and ERA of 1.63 allowing just 10 hits in 16 2/3 IP while striking out 24! In addition, the Reds have the 2nd best bullpen in the majors with a 2.91 ERA. while the Rockies are much improved this year, they are still 13-16 overall with a 6-10 record on the road. Tonight, the Rox start Kyle Freeland who is making his first start off the 15-day IL. Freeland has an ERA of 6.39 vs Cincinnati in 9 career starts. Play Cincinnati on the RL in what looks like (on paper) as a beatdown.

-This number is at least a run too low. While both teams' offenses have struggled this year scoring runs, the Phillies pitching staff has been in shambles with only Cristopher Sanchez pulling weight. The Phillies have allowed 5.57 runs/game (worst in the majors) and one of the biggest dissapointments has been tonight's starter Jesus Luzardo, sporting an ERA just a shade under 7.00. In addition, he had 2 starts vs the Giants in 2025 with both games going way over the total. Meanwhile, the Giants start RHP Tyler Mahle, who has been a disaster on the road giving up 14 ER's in just 13 innings for an ERA of 9.69. Play the Over in tonight's contest.

-Since the firing of manager Alex Cora, the Red Sox have been red hot, going 2-0 and outscoring their opponent 10-3! Tonight the Sox start LHP Payton Tolle who in his only start this season allowed only 1 ER on 3 hits in 6 IP vs the Yankees with 11 K's. Meanwhile, Toronto is starting Trey Yesavage who is making his 2026 debut this evening.

-First off, The Padres are 14-2 their last 16 games and are a 1/2 game out of the lead in the NL West. They are 10-4 at home and 5-2 against teams above .500. Tonight, San Diego starts RHP Walker Buehler whose team is 3-0 when he starts at home and in his last 2 individual home starts, he is 2-0, giving up 2 ER's in 11 IP for an ERA of 1.64. In addition, Buehler has the advantage of an excellent bullpen to back him up that leads the majors in saves with 12. Meanwhile, since their long win streak was snapped, Chicago is 0-3 giving up 27 runs. In addition, the Cubs are just 6-7 on the road and 2-5 vs teams above .500. Tonight, the Cubs start RHP Edward Cabrera who has struggled mightily on the road in his career with a 8-20 record with a 4.56 ERA and 243 strikeouts across 46 appearances.
