-Cleveland comes into tonight's game on a 9-1 streak putting them within 3 games of the last wild card spot in the AL. Their pitching has been phenominal giving up just 5 ER's during this span, for an average of 1.5 runs per game! Tonight they start LHP Joey Cantillo who had been brilliant so far this season. He is 5-3 overall with a 3.36 ERA, but his splits and current form are even better. He is 3-1 with an ERA of 3.02 on the road and 4-1 with a 2.77 ERA at night! In his last 4 starts, he is 3-1 allowing just 3 ER's in 24 2/3 IP for an ERA of just 1.09 and he has won his last 2 starts allowing only 1 ER in 14 IP for an ERA of 0.64! Meanwhile, The Tigers are one of the best teams in baseball but they are just 5-7 their last 12 and just 2-5 in their last 7 home games. Tonight, they start RHP Casey Mize who has not been sharp as of late with an ERA of 5.13 in his last 5 starts. In addition, his ERA at night is just 4.43. Play Cleveland as a live dog.

Tonight the Pirates start Cy Young candidate Paul Skenes to the hill against the Chicago Cubs! First of all, he has an ERA of 1.92 on the year which dwindles to 1.54 at home. In his last 3 starts, he is 3-0 allowing only 3 ER's on 19 hits in 30 IP with 37 K's! Starting for the Cubs is RHP Cade Horton who has been "almost" equally dynamic this year. He is 10-4 on the season with an ERA of 2.70. In his last 10 starts he has give up just 5 (FIVE) ER's in 52 2/3 IP for an ERA of 0.85!! In addition, he is 9-3 to the under in his last 12 starts while Skenes has gone under the total in 10 of his last 15 starts. In addition, the 2 teams are a combined 127-157 to the under this season. You must remember that despite his ERA Skenes gets NO run support and his record on the year is just 10-9! Play Chicago Cubs and the Under this evening.

The Padres come into today's game winners of 3 of 4 and just 2 games back of the LA Dodgers in the NL West. Tonight, they start RHP Michael King who is 4-2 on the season with an ERA of 2.87 and in his first start since coming off the IL pitched admiralably giving up 2 ER's in 5 2/3 IP. Meanwhile, the Mets are completely in the tank going 2-9 their last 11 games and are just 1.5 games from falling out of the last Wild Card spot in the NL and missing the playoffs. Tonight, the Mets start RHP Clay Holmes who is 0-3 his last 3 starts giving up 11 runs in 13 2/3 innings pitched. Furthermore, he has already lost to the Padres this year, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits in just 3 2/3 innings pitched. Play San Diego.........

-This is a rematch of a game on Sept 9 in which Boston won 6-0 (with the same pitchers). Boston starts LHP Connelly Early who in his first start of 2025, shutout the A's on 5 hits in 5 IP with 11 k's!. Meanwhile, the A's start LHP Jeffery Springs who is 0-3 in his last 3 starts giving up 10 ER's on 20 hits in 16 2/3 IP for an ERA of 5.40! As mentioned above, this is a rematch of a game 7 days ago except this time the game is in Boston and I don't see a different outcome in the different venue. Play Boston on the RL

-Tonight, the Reds start LHP Andrew Abbott who is 9-6 on the year with an ERA of 2.79! He has a record of 5-3 on the road with an ERA of 2.41 and after a rough stretch, pitched excellent in his last start and getting the win, giving up 1 ER on 6 hits in 8 IP. The Cardinals are in a 1-6 funk and Starter Michael McGreevy has an ERA of 6.07 at home! In his last 2 home starts, he is 0-2 giving up 10 ER's on 15 hits and 4 HR's in 10 innings pitched. Play the Reds in this contest at the short favorite price!

Arizona comes into this game winners of 3-straight and the Giants have lost 3 straight. Starting for the D-backs is LHP Eduardo Rodriguez who is 3-0 his last 3 starts giving up 1 ER on only 10 hits in 18 1/3 IP for an ERA of 0.89! In addition, he has beaten the Giants twice this season and in his last game against them, he shut them out on 2 hits on the road! The Giants also dont hit left-handers and chime in at at a .214 clip against them.. The Giants, who have slipped to .500 this year start RHP Tristan Beck, who is making his first start of the year! All signs point to the D-backs in this one and I recommend a play on Arizona tonight............
