ChiCubs/Pittsburgh Under 8
-I'm gonna take another shot with the Under between these two. First off, the 2 teams are a combined 127-159 to the under this year. The visiting Cubs are 4-9 to the under their last 13 while the Pirates are 2-9 to the under their last 11. The Pirates are simply just not hitting lately, scoring just 24 runs in their last 11 games, an average of just 2.18 runs per game. Starting for the Cubs is LHP Matthew Boyd who is a nice 13-8 on the season with a ERA of 3.05 and a ERA of 2.36 during the day! In addition, he is 1-0 in 2 starts vs Pittsburgh this season, giving up just 3 ER's in 11 1/3 IP for an ERA of just 2.38 and the Pirates hit just .218 vs LHP this year (16 pts bellow their avg.) Meanwhile, the pirates start Johan Oviedo who is 2-0 this season in with an ERA of just 2.81! In his last 5 starts, his ERA drops to 2.19. Finally, these 2 teams are 1-8-1 to the under the last 10 times playing head-to-head! He also had the luxury of the Cubs never have faced him before. Again, just like yesterday, 8 is a low number, but I just can't see these two teams reaching that total............Play the Under!

Baltimore comes into this game 10-4 their last 14 games with only a 3-game sweep to juggernaut Toronto blemishing this record or they would be 10-1 their last 11. Today, they start RHP Tyler Wells who is making only his 3rd start of the season today. In his previous 2 starts, he is 2-0 with a 2.31 ERA while striking out 10 in 11 1/3 IP. Today the O's face the Chicago White Sox who are just 57-95 on the year, a negative proposition of -$1153!. The White Sox have lost 5 straight and are just 1-9 head-to-head vs the O's. Today, they start LHP Martin Perez who is just 1-5 on the year and in his last 2 starts is 0-2, giving up 9 ER's, 3 HR's in just 10 2/3 IP for an ERA of 7.59 ERA. In addition, he is 0-3 vs the Orioles in his career! Play the Orioles!

-The Giants are in the tank, dropping 4 straight and falling to 1 game under .500 but by no means the fault of today's pitcher Justin Verlander. Verlander, after a rough start to the season, has been lights out as of late, going 3-1 his last 4 starts giving up only 3 ER's on only 17 hits, 1 HR in 24 innings pitched for an ERA of 1.13! Meanwhile, the D-backs are starting RHP Brandon Pfattdt who has an ERA on the season of 5.31 and s in terrible current form going just 1-1 in his last 5 starts for an ERA of 6.57 and surrendering 36 hits in 24 2/3 IP. Furthermore, in his 2 starts vs the Giants this year, he is 0-2 giving up 8 ER's in 10 IP for an ERA of 7.20 ad an OBA of .300! Play the Giants today!

-We are going to keep riding the Cleveland money train until it crashes. Cleveland is now 10-1 it's last 11 games and in turn has pulled them into the AL wild card race only 2.5 behind Boston for he last spot! Tonight, they start RHP Gavin Williams who is 10-5 with an ERA of 3.16 ERA on the season and is very good on the road with a 3.33 ERA. His current form is excellent, going 3-1 his last 3 starts with an ERA of 2.20! Meanwhile, Detroit's once insurmountable lead in the AL Central has dwindled to 5.5 games (over Cleveland). They are just 1-5 their last 6 games and are just 2-6 their last 8 at home! Tonight, they start RHP Jack Flaherty who is just 8-13 with a 4.69 ERA on the season. In addition, he is just 5-7 with a 4.31 ERA at home and 5-10 with a 4.61 ERA at night. Finally he is 0-1 vs Cleveland this year. Play Cleveland as a super live dog!

-Boston comes into this game having lost 4 of 5, but I think they get off the schnide today. they lead in the head-to-head vs the A's 8-2 last 10. Today The Sox start Lucas Giolito who is having an excellent season going 10-4 with a 3.31 ERA. In addition, he is 5-2 at home and his current form is excellent with a ERA of just 2.14 his last 5 starts. Meanwhile, the A's start RH Mason Barnett who has had a rough time of it this season. He has only made 3 appearances out of the bullpen giving up 12 ER's on 18 hits, 6 BB's in 12 1/3 IP for an ERA of 8.53! Finally, Boston is 45-31 at home this season and are very much a factor in the AL wild card race. Play Boston on the run line...........

-Dispite beating the Padres last night, the Mets are still in the tank going 2-8 their last 10 games dropping to 78-73 over all and in danger of missing out on the playoffs. San Diego, meanwhile are just 2 games back of the Dodgers in the NL West. Tonight the Padres start their ace Nick Pivetta who is13-5 on the year with a 2.73 ERA. In addition, Pivetta is in excellent current form. In his last 5 starts, he has an ERA of 2.10 striking out 36 in 30 IP. and in his last start, he shutout the Reds through 7 innings. Meanwhile, the Mets start LHP David Peterson, who dispite having a decent overall record has been in horrible current form. In his last 5 starts, he has an ERA of 6.23 and got shellacked his last start giving up 7 runs in just 5 IP for an ERA of 12.16! Finally, although not recently, Pivetta is 3-0 career vs the Mets. Play San Diego in this matchup...

-Miami comes into this game winners of 5 of 6 and come in at a decent 35-38 on the road. Tonight they start LHP Ryan Weathers who in his first game coming off the IL, pitched 5 Innings of shutout ball. But the REAL story is the Colorado Rockies who come in with a 41-110 record! they are 30 games under .500 at home and are on a 4-20 SU streak and hit just .238 in the BEST hitters park in baseball! Meanwhile, the Rockies start RHP MCCade Brown who is 0-4 in his 4 starts this year with and ERA of 9.88. In the other game, The Yankees are only 2 games out of a AL wild card spot and tonight start RHP Luis Gil who is 4-1 on the year with a 2.83 ERA and a record of 3-0 with an ERA of 1.27 at night. His current form is excellent going 3-0 n his last 5 five starts for an ERA of 1.65 na an opponents BA of 1.67! Starting for the Twins is one of my favorite go-against pitchers Taj Bradley who has a home ERA of 5.29 and has awful current form going 0-1 in his last 4 starts with an ERA of 6.33. Finally, the Twins are one of the worst money burning teams in the majors at -$2433! Play this parlay as a 2x play!
