Put these in overnight........................

Miami RL +125
-Although both Miami starter Eury Perez and Washington starter Mitchell Parker have terrible current form, Perez has more signs of life and has a higher upside than Parker. Perez is a nice 6-4 with an ERA of 4.04 on the season and in his last 5 starts has 2 quality starts against Toronto and St. Louis. Parker, meanwhile, is 7-15 on the year with an ERA of 5.94 and is 0-5 his last 5 starts with 0 quality starts. In 10 starts in July and August he is 2-7 with a bloated ERA of 9.49! Washington has lost 8 of 10 as a team and has a poor record at home of only 28-42! Miami meanwhile has a better record on the road at 34-37 for a money making +$1448. Finally, in Parker's last appearance vs Miami on June 13, he was rattled for 6 ER's on 8 hits, 3 BB's and 2 HR's in just 3 1/3 IP IN Washington! I look for more of the same today with parker getting lit up! Play Miami on the run line.........

NY Mets -115
-Today, the Mets look for the sweep against the slumping Tigers and im betting that they get it. They are 5-1 SU their last 6 on the road and have scored 22 runs in the first 2 games vs Detroit. Today, they start RHP Clay Holmes who is 11-6 on the season with an ERA of 3.60 and is actually better on the road than at home posting an ERA of just 3.26. In addition, he is 3-1 in his last 4 starts. The Tigers are in the midst of a slump going just 2-7 their last 9 games and Tiger' starter Casey Mize is also slumping as of late with an ERA of 6.43 in July and August combined! In his last start, he gave up 5 ER's on 7 hits in just 3 1/3 IP against the light-hitting A's. Play the Mets in this contest!

Texas/Arizona Under 9
I'm basing this play on the current form of BOTH pitchers. Texas (62-75 to the under overall) starts RHP Jack Leiter who, in his last 7 starts is 6-1 to the under. In addition, going back to June 17, he has made 6 quality starts and has allowed only 16 ER's in 51 IP in 12 appearances for an ERA of 2.82 between starting and relieving. Meanwhile, D-Backs starter Zac Gallen in his last 5 starts has an ERA of 2.48 with all 4 of 5 starts going under the total. I realize that both these teams can hit the ball, but good pitching usually prevails over good hitting. Play Texas/Arizona under the total of 9

Please watch for additional plays in the afternoon......

Good luck to all................

Pittsburgh +147
-Gonna take a shot with the home dog in this one. The Dodgers come into this game having lost 3 of 4 and are BELOW .500 on the road at 33-34, a money-burning -$1099. The Pirates are a very respectable 40-30 at home this season and are 7-3 their last 10! Pittsburgh starts RHP Braxton Ashcraft who is 4-2 with a 2.58 ERA between starting and relieving (6 starts). In addition, he is 3-1 with and ERA of 3.13 at home! Meanwhile, LA starts RHP Emmit Sheehan, who has a 4.50 ERA on the road thus far. I can't pass up the Pirates at this price as a home dog. Play Pittsburgh..........

AGAIN wineguy...........I put that play in in PLENTY of time. Live plays are a big part of my game. If you can't (or won't follow) I don't know what to say! I'm up almost +140u this season, but i can't win everyday! Either follow or not, but quit bitchin about it. it gets old and ive had enough. What can I do to help? Should I not count it? Should I provide proof that I indeed made the bet? Should I not post live bets anymore? I'm about ready to quit posting altogether.....eagerly waiting for your response..........

Whoa, whoa.....that is not a bitch whatsoever bud. I said I was happy for you, I am not in a place to make the live bet today is all I meant by it. Please don't mistake my post as anything else. I have been here 25 years and you will not see one bitchiness at anyone regarding a play. I pull the trigger in the end, not anyone else. Always a follower, that is my fun, sometimes it doesn't work out. But no bitching or being upset here Sir.

My apologies Wineguy.........I was frustrated and lost my cool and didn't mean to single you out.........I guess I took your post the wrong way. Please, by all means, feel free to continue to post in my threads. Cheers! :smilies8

I was surprised when I didn't see Toronto with your earlier picks. I always handicap first, and then check your posts. We are on the same games about 80% of the time, which makes me more confident. However, today the only game that I could pull the trigger on was Toronto........Better late than never. Glad to see you on the Canadian side.

Good luck to us!
