-The Phillies come into today's game winners of 2-straight and 6-4 their last 10. Starting for the Phills is LHP Cristopher Sanchez who hasn't given up a run in 40-straight innings, going 3-0 in his last 5 starts. San Diego is just not hitting as of late, scoring just 7 runs in their last 4 games. Furthermore, he is 3-0 in his last 3 starts vs the Padres for a 1.27 ERA. In addition, San Diego only hits .210 vs lefties thus far in 2026. Starting for the Padres is RHP Walker Buehler who has a 5.05 ERA on the season and is only good for about 5 innings these days. Buehler's teams are 0-3 vs the Phillies in his last 3 starts with an individual ERA of 6.51. Play the Phillies in this afternoon's contest even at the steep fave price.
