Put these two morning games in overnight......

Toronto/ChiSox Under 8'
-Despite Toronto winning 10-straight, I like the total better in this contest. Toronto LHP Eric Lauer is 4-1 on the year with a nice ERA of 2.65. He is just as good on the road as he is at home, going 3-1 with an ERA of 2.79. The White Sox counter with righty Adrian Houser who has excellent recent form, going 4-1 with a sparkling ERA of just 1.67. In addition, all 8 of his starts this year have gone under the total. In 3 starts at home this season, he is a perfect 3-0 with a miniscule ERA of just 0.47! I think both teams are going to have trouble scoring runs in this game so I'm taking the Under.

Milwaukee +140
-The Dodgers come into this game on a 5-game skid, where they have scored just 8 runs on only 33 hits (an average of less than 6 hits a game) They are a rather pedestrian 23-20 on the road this season, a far cry from their record at home. Milwaukee has won 4 of their last 5 outings, are 29-17 at home, and in this game they face RHP Tyler Glasnow, who is making his first start since April 27th, so we expect him to be a little rusty and may be on a pitch count. Milwaukee starts RHP Jose Quintana who has a nice record of 6-3 this season with an ERA of 3.44. In addition, Quintana is a much better pitcher during day games, going 3-1 with an ERA of 2.64. This is a very live dog.

Please check back later for more plays.

Detroit RL +152
Detroit has the best record in baseball and are outstanding this season at home, going 32-14. They have won 5-straight games, including the last 2 vs Tampa Bay. Detroit starts RHP Reese Olson who has outstanding recent form, allowing only 1 run in this last 3 starts spanning 16 IP. Tampa Bay starts Zack Littell who is just 1-4 in his last 5 starts and is 0-3 in his last 3 starts vs Detroit, losing each game by more than 2 runs. The Rays are just 2-8 their last 10 and have lost he first 2 games of the series vs Detroit, both by 2 or more runs. I think Detroit makes a statement here against the fading rays and I'm playing the Tigers on the runline.

A's +111
-I don't get this line at all. I think the wrong team is favored. The Braves come into this game as one of the worst road teams in the majors, standing at just 15-39 SU, and a negative proposition of -2348! The A's aren't exactly world beaters either, but they did slaughter the Braves last night 10-1. The Braves have now lost 5 in a row and 7 of 8. However, I believe the key to this game is Braves starter Bryce Elder who is been absolutely horrible his last 5 games, going 1-4 with a bloated ERA of 8.75! He also lost his last start against the A's IN oakland. We'll gladly take the home dog in this contest.

Just goes to show you that no matter what data you have and how you handicap, they STILL have to play the game............what a disaster
