Put these in overnight.........

Toronto RL +120
-Toronto comes in today's game vs the Pirates with nice record on the season of 74-53 and have won 4 of 6. They average almost 5 runs a game and have won 8 of 10 meetings with the Pirates dating back to last year. They start RHP Chris Bassitt who is 11-6 with a 4.22 ERA and is 4-2 with a 3.20 ERA during the day. The Pirates, however, can't hit scoring just 29 runs in their last 10 games (an average of 2.9 runs per game) and have a season batting average of only .227 during the day. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh starts RHP Johan Oviedo who has made 1 start in his career, lasting only 1 inning, giving up 2 runs on 3 hits and 3 BB's for an ERA of 18.00. I know this is a limited sample size, but this looks like a bull pen day for Pittsburgh. I see this game very similar to last night's game won by Toronto 7-3. Finally, Bassitt is 3-0 in his career vs the Pirates giving up only 3 ER's in 15 innings pitched for an ERA of 1.80 with 20 K's Play Toronto on the run line......

Seattle +130 & Over 8.5
-Today, Seattle looks to avoid the sweep against the Phillies starting RHP Luis Castillo. They stand at 68-58, 1.5 games ahead of the Astros in the AL West. Castillo stands at 8-6 with a 3.46 ERA on the season and a 3.16 ERA during day games. In addition, Seattle has gone 8-3 in Castillo' 11 road starts. Seattle is also a formidable 20-11 vs lefty starters this year. The Phillies start LHP Jesus Luzardo who is 11-6 with a 4.21 record on the year and a bloated ERA of 5.23 at home and an ERA of 5.64 during day games. In addition, in Luzardo's last start against the Mariners he gave up 6 ER's in just 5 IP while taking the loss. Finally, we can't ignore Philly's offensive prowness the last few games, scoring 29 runs in their last 3 games! I like Seattle to outlast the Phillies in a slugfest so I'm playing Seattle and the Over in this game.

Miami -120
-The Marlins come into tonight's game vs the Cards looking to avoid the 3-games sweep. They start RHP Sandy Alcantara who has pitched much better of late than the start of the season. 3 of his last 5 starts have been lights out, allowing 1 ER on just 9 hits in 18 IP for an ERA of 0.50. One of these wins was a shutout of the Cardinals on July 29th. He has pitched much better at home this season than on the road. Meanwhile, St. Louis has lost 5 of 7 and start Andre Pallante who is just 6-10 with an ERA of 5.04 overall this season, 1-4 with an ERA of 6.46 his last 5 and a disaster on the road. Look for Alcantara and the Marlins to avoid the sweep tonight. Play Miami.........

Atlanta RL +105
-The Braves enter this game tonight red-hot winning 9 of their last 11 games pulling themselves to .500 at home. They start RHP Hurston Waldrep who is a perfect 3-0 this year, giving up 2 ER's on just 9 hits in 17 2/3 IP for an ERA of 1.02! Meanwhile, the White Sox enter this game having lost 3 of 15 games and are a terrible 19-45 on the road. Tonight, they start LHP Martin Perez who is making his 5th start of the season. He is 0-1 with an ERA of 4.82 on the road and 0-1 with an ERA of 12.00 at night. Play the Braves on the runline.............

Kansas City -122 (2x)
-The Royals come into tonight's tilt vs Texas red-hot winning 5-straight and 8 of 10 putting them only 1.5 games behind Seattle in the AL wild card race. Tonight, they start LHP Noah Cameron who is 7-5 on the season with a sharp ERA of 2.47. He has excellent current form going 4-1 his last 5 with an ERA of 2.86! In addition, the Rangers can't hit lefties standing at a .224 batting average against them. Meanwhile, Texas is just 2-10 SU their last 12 games and are just 25-39 on the road. Tonight, they start RHP Caleb Boushley who is making his first start of the year and in 20 appearances as a reliever he has a 4.91 ERA. On the road it gets even worse! In 12 appearances he sports a 6.45 ERA. I believe that this line is at least 20 pts off so we're gonna play Kansas City on the short favorite line as a double play...........
-Texas is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games against Kansas City.
