Easy winner with MS State, I am staying on the same bandwagon:

BYU -2.5 -108

Arkansas is reeling and a trip to Utah is not the answer. Tough time in the schedule for them to go on the road against a solid team. BYU stuck with ND and had a chance in that game. ND defense is much better than Arkansas. I see a BYU win by a TD in this one.

Also, not sure how Oklahoma can be 7.5 point favorites over any conference opponent right now. Kansas is very tempting but I have not pulled the trigger yet.

That was just a bad call. Been a frustrating year so far in college. I probably should just wait til the conference finals and bowls where I tend to do better, but this one just stuck out to me:

Cincy -2.5

I just do not think SMU is that good. They did not impress me at all against MD and nothing after that game has been that impressive. I think Cincy is the better team and I will lay the small number on the road.

Have to play this one:

Texas -2.5

because I really do not get the line. I thought Kansas State would be favored in this game after their blowout of Oklahoma State. I am not a big TX fan as they always seem to blow big games, but playing this solely based on the line.

A few lines initially caught my eye this week: TN +8, LSU +14, ND +4

But I have been a little off this year (blaming it on the World Cup being played in November and December!!!), so not being as aggressive as I usually am. Of those 3, I really think Clemson is ripe for an upset. I will likely be on ND+ and the ML.

Finally a decent week. Texas tried to blow it but they held on and ND was the play of the day.

I may be getting sucked into this one, but I played it already:

TCU +7.5

All this team does is win and now you make them a TD dog to a team that has trouble finishing games. My guess is the Over is the play here also, but I am taking the points. Texas has proven that they can not hold leads and I expect this game to be close.

Nice winner this week as I hit this one hard. Can not believe how many people were on Texas in this game.

Already found another for this week:

UCONN +10.5

Was shocked by this line. Army has not scored 10 points in each of the last 2 games and 2 of their 3 wins are over FBS schools. Meanwhile, UCONN is one of the best stories in the country that you hear very little about. Their season over under was 2.5 and they are already have 6 wins with a big one over Liberty last week. You also have Army looking ahead to Navy since that is their season. Maybe I am missing something but this line looks completely wrong to me. I think UCONN wins outright.

What’s wrong w Terp’s offense? I am closing to taking Maryland plus 28 and over 64. If they can score 17 points worst I should do is go 1-1.

They have all kinds of problems. Just getting completely dominated at the line of scrimmage. Rumor is Lia is still hurt, but he's afraid to throw the ball and has happy feet. The WRS are not as good as advertised and not getting open. The offensive coordinator really sucks. This is a poorly coached team that is spiraling down.

No way I touch MD, but OSU could score 64 themselves!

First play for post season already in and I hit it hard:

Georgia -6 -116

I think giving less than a TD is a gift here. Have to think this line is a little off given how many yards LSU threw for, but I really do not consider that relevant. Ohio State will see a much different defense in the championship. I have not seen anything from Ohio State that leads me to believe they can win this game. Stroud has not been very impressive against better teams and their defense is suspect. I do not think they are one of the 4 best teams in the country. Georgia's well rounded offense will keep them off guard and I expect the GA defense to put all kinds of pressure on Stroud. I think GA wins by 14+.

I doubt the line drops but if it does I will play so more. Will be in AC and Vegas over the next couple weeks so will keep an eye on it.

It can be dangerous to bet some of these bowl games well ahead of time given the new trend of players opting out coupled with possible suspensions, etc. so I will limit the plays, but I had to put this one in:

Utah Pk

They are simply better than Penn State and they should not have many players missing this game. Plus I think Utah has a big coaching advantage.

Other lines I am waiting on: ECU, Florida State, Duke, Uconn and Toledo.

Bason-- I certainly respect your capping abilities (especially when it comes to Maryland) but I think Penn State gives the Utes a battle. Unlike USC's defense which was garbage, Penn State's D (led by coach Manny Diaz) is going to give Utah all they can handle. And Sean Clifford (in what--his 8th year of eligibility? LOL) should shine in his last college game. That said, after Utah knocked out USC from the playoff I thought this line would be 4 or 5. 2.5 seems more than a bit shady here. Fact is, Penn State had a very good season. They lost only twice, to two of the 4 playoff teams. They were leading Ohio State into the 4th when a fluke INT occurred and then the game got away from them late. As for Michigan, they were only down 1 point at the half but admittedly were stomped in the 2nd half. Either way, should be a great game.
