Last time everyone on this board all lined up virtually 100% on the same plays we took a major bath. If I remember right there was one name on Tiger's leaderboard the next day and they played only totals. I forgot who it was.

I'm getting a little nervous about tonight. Normally I don't play as early as I did today, but I was trying to nail down some action at good prices. I'm in much heavier than I feel comfortable with right now. I hope I am wrong . . . wrong . . . wrong . . . about the hot tub, but this could be a really ugly night if CUB, NYY, PHI, ARI and OAK were to all go down.

Thats why i'm passing on all those games. If there is one thing i've seen over and over again from coming to this forum for the last couple months, its that the team everybody loves loses way too often.

Hopefully they all win tonight and everybody is happy...good luck and be careful!

The thought is always in the back of your mind. But when there's a consensus with the top cappers here, I feel really comfortable.

Even if the plays don't come in, these are the RIGHT plays I feel and you will come out ahead in the long run with solid capping.

Let's just enjoy the games tonight and hopefully in the end enjoy the extra $$$$

NCU, i was thinking the same thing...I have a sinking feeling tonite....

The big reason TODAY is because Raymond is on the REDZ...normally, I'm on a dog (with one or two favs thrown in...)and he's on the fav, but tonite he's picked a DOG when I have the FAV in that game...

all the high chalk tonite is making me nervous as well...let's just cross our fingers..may look for a REALLY good total tonite...

good luck to all tonite.

I like ARI Over. I will do a write up on it in a few minutes. I've been pretty cold on totals the last couple of weeks, but I like this one and I will explain why.

I do not see how you can win if you play everyday when you play big chalk all the time. A right play is a win!!! Baaseball gives you room to make mistakes if you look for value..SF/kc/min!!!!!!

bryanz,

I understand where you are coming from and if you can consistently pick enough winners to make money without laying chalk then "hats off" to you.

In defense of the chalk, however, there are at least four members of this forum that do this for a living and one of them, fletcher, is the king of chalk and makes good money laying heavy chalk although he goes through streaks just like we all do.

Another, Internet Executive, seldom lays chalk and never lays heavy chalk and he makes a living doing this as well. The other two, including myself, are middle of the road. I am sure there are other professionals on here that I have forgotten.

I think the key is to find what fits for each individual and you won't find a better bunch of cappers than are on this forum. We all have our unique methods and we seldom agree 100%, but if you keep an open mind to others it will pay off.

I am open minded to everyone on here and am glad to see you posting. I am sure I can learn a lot from you and look forward to doing that.

inside your head
NCU, caught this message just before leaving for Yankee game tonight. Glad I was busy all day and did not have time to cap. Did pay head to your warning. One of the worst feelings as a capper is to not do your own capping, follow the plays of others and lose. At least when you do your own homework and lose, it doesn't feel that bad, at least to me. I did ride someone's plays not from the site and basically split. Also played the Yankees though (had to have extra incentive to root for the home team

)and that definately ruined the night.

Anyways the point of my babble is thanks for the heads up. Sometimes the more important plays are the ones you do not make......

Thanks Phoenix. It would have been nice to see the Yankees win. I am sure you enjoyed the game anyway. I watched the hour long pre-game and thought how neat it would be to be there live.

Glad you saved some bacon. I took out three two team parlays on CIN, PIT and TAM that saved my butt tonight. I still lost a little, but it would have been ugly if I hadn't covered myself.

I feel sorry for the guys who dropped a lot tonight. Play all those games again and they would all win, but for some reason tonight was one of those nights . . . and you could just feel it coming. I've been doing this too damn long and seen it happen too many times to ignore that feeling.

Best wishes. Let's get our money back tomorrow.
