VILLANOVA, Pa. - Sophomore guard Mike Nardi (Linden, N.J./St. Patrick's High School) suffered a sprained right ankle near the end of practice yesterday. His status is day-to-day and he will be a game time decision for Wednesday evening's game with No. 3 Boston College.
Nardi has started 22 of Villanova's 23 games this season at point guard. He averages 9.3 points and 4.0 assists per outing.
"We all feel for Mike," stated Wildcat head coach Jay Wright. "He has been such a warrior in his short tenure here. I have no doubt he will be back in the shortest period of time possible."
