TCSN...Were you watching the game dude?...you spout off like that about the runiing game...Maurice Clarett only played in the 1st Q...we won the game...at this juncture that'st all you need to do...period.. win TCSN.....comprende?.....win
crib..

Unlike you, I know they have just as capable backs. Purdue still outplayed them & they were lucky to win. I would start praying for losses as no way Ohio St gets in the Fiesta Bowl if Miami & Oklahoma run the table.

I definitely agree with you Hellah. But the fact is they have

to get beat before anyone should bash them. I've coached

ball for many years and see this all the time. Yes, I am a

Buckeye fan but when any team comes in a little flat, they can

get knocked off. Especially a team that has an extra week

to prepare. GL on your picks.

Omar, lets make a wager.....

If there is a game between OSU against either OKL or MIAMI,

I'll take OSU and you'll obviously be on the other side.

If I win....Send me a Toledo sweater, if I lose I'll send you a Party Size pizza from PIZZA PIZZA, delivered to your bedroom courtesy of MeesterMike's girls....

What do you say?

LOL:D

TCSN---you don't get it....their is a huge gap between OSU's other backs and Clarett...when I make a comment to you that Clarett didn't play...its supposed to be a statement that declares that it would look like again the Buckeyes struggled on the road...
but they only struggle because Clarett didn't/doesn't play.....why won't you give OSU any credit...??? You act like Miami has looked good vs all their comp.....did you watch the FSU vs Maimi game TCSN...I did...lets just use common sense here....let Miami, Okla. and Ohio St. play out the year...and let the best man/team win...
Hellah made a nice call on the Purdue vs OSU game....but he can't just make an educated statement and let it go at that...he always has to run his mouth....you and Hellah need to go out and have a brew sometime....you'd make a great pair..!!!

Yes, I did watch the Miami-Florida state game. There is a difference between Miami & Ohio State. Miami is the defending champion, they have not lost in quite awhile & some might say they could possibly have been two time defending champions.

Until Ohio St can prove they can beat good teams like these, they are overrated in my opinion.

There's no way that Notre Dame or Ohio State could go into Vanderbilt, win the TO battle by two and only lead by 4 going into the 4th quarter. Nor could they go down to Kyle Field, a place that 3 team (2 unranked) have gone into this year and won, and be involved in a game with them.

The two best teams in the nation are on the road this weekend against unranked teams and only one is a double-digit fav. There's not that big of a difference between #1 and #40 anymore and to judge a team by a road game is idiotic and pointless.

It's November!!!!!

This stuff happens and style points don't matter much at the end of the season.

Go Aggies!!!!
Go Vols!!!!

I would say Go Commodores!!!! but would anybody be that surprised to see a Gator team go on the road anywhere and lose. It's about time they go into the Sun Belt.

No one is judging Ohio State by one road game, this is the whole season so I'd go over the thread again.

Ohio State until they prove themselves is nothing but a pretender to me.

It won't matter in the end if Mia & Okl run the tables, Ohio St will be in the Rose Bowl & lose.

It was the team speed and the fact that the Irish outweigh them by about 150 lbs. a man on the line.

Good win for the Irish . . .

and the Bucks and the Gators and LSU and Colorado. It might even be a good win for the Sooners if they can slow down A&M's high scoring 60-minutes-of-hell-offense. We'll see:shrug:

This is ridiculous. Lot's of people with 'blinders' on. Ohio St is obviously one of the best teams in the country. They don't win in grand fashion, nor will they even win any style points. But they have a solid running game, QB who limits his mistakes, and a defense that is the strong suit of the entire team. They haven't lost playing a good schedule..road games in conference are tough, especially this time of the year when teams are jacked having a chance to beat an unbeaten team.

OSU wiped Texas Tech...dominated Wash State..beat everyone else in-between. Sure, most haven't been pretty wins, but they are W's and that is the bottom line. There is so much parity in college football...it's always possible for any Top 50 team caliber team to beat a Top 5 or give them a game down to the wire. Okie St beating Oklahoma last season, Okie almost losing to Missouri, Miami almost losing to BC last season and to a mediocre FSU team this season. Does that make them garbage? Absolutely not. Teams just can't go out every week and win by 30pts..too much talent out there that are on other teams..the gap isn't that wide.

Could OSU beat Miami or Oklahoma? Of course...worse team than OSU have given both of those teams all they can handle. They certainly wouldn't be the favorite, but their defense is good enough to where they can compete with any team.
