So. Cal
anybody see any value in the following plays or any others????

bama +400 (think they can lose a game and still make title game...unless it's to lsu and they dont lose any other sec games.....probably best talent, coach and team out there...+400 is pretty low for a future but +400 will sound good come bcs title day)

fla st +1200 (must beat ou at home and then probably needs to run the table...at clemson after ou is a concern, esp after a big win...defense should be great but qb is a question)

stan +1500 (easiest schedule, hard to go undefeated in cong however...has ore at home...new staff is a concern, but should have best qb but probably needs to run table)

in the end.....could stan or fsu beat bama in a title game matchup???

(passing on ou at +500 even though they have fairly good schedule and top billing...think they'd get wacked by bama or other sec team.....also passing on wisc + neb as i think it's too hard to run table in big-10 and neither team is that good to go 13-0)

From a Vol fan, Bama is going to be a :padlock: to win the SEC.

If they get picked off in a game, it will be at Miss. State IMO, but that will not stop them from winning the SEC West and there is no one in the East that will beat them.

No one is talking about Va. Tech very much. They have the easiest road schedule in the ACC IMO. Their road games are as follows:
@ECU
@Marshall
@Wake
@Duke
@Ga Tech
@Virginia

I think I might chip in a little on them making it just because of the schedule.

Stanford will be tough starting three new OL. Also, having to win B2B @USC and @Oregon State, will be very tough. I know Oregon State has injury issues, but will probably have some of those guys back by November. I am also not sure Notre Dame doesn't come in there and beat them in late November.

Other than Bama, I think you take your chance with Va Tech; or go Va Tech and Florida State. In the end, I see no one beating Alabama. They only lost DE Marcell Dareus, to an already stout defense and if Trent Richardson can stay healthy, they are just going to be too physical IMO.
