Bama should have a chip on their shoulder from the recent backlash they've faced. LSU felt disrespected by Bama players after the last game, but never made it public. LSU wanted bama this game. Be careful what you wish for, tigers:scared bama gets motivational edge imo.

Playing at home, as Bama did in first game, gives an edge to the OL of the home team. LSU competed mightily in the trenches at Bama. Keep that in mind when LSU DL and OL both look even better the next time these teams play.

Jefferson is big game tested having played over a dozen times in bowls and against vs top 10 teams, winning most. This season, jefferson is 3-0 on the big stage with road wins at bama and UGA(sort of) while LSU is 4-0 (neutral Oregon) overall in big national games. Bama and McCarron on the big stage this year 1-1 at home. Soph and younger QBs have not fared well on this stage. Big advantage at QB for LSU despite the pitiful 30 yds passing vs UGA.

Agree or disagree. Any thoughts are welcome.

There are a large number of Lsu tigers from the greater New Orleans area, I expect these players to really bring their best to the field. Les miles has lost only 1 bowl game while at Lsu. That game was to penn state on a field that neutralized Lsu s team speed. Lsu, to the best of my knowledge has never lost a game in the superdome, if they did it was to Tulane during the dark days of Lsu football. Lsu played its poorest game of the season at tuscaloosa and came away with a win. I think they win by 10 in this one.

Lsu lost to Tulane in 1982. There record is stellar in the superdome, off the top of my head we beat Illinois in the sugar, notes dame in the sugar, ou and Ohio state in nc games and a bunch of wins over Tulane. Cie can you remember a Lsu loss other than the 82 game?

I was drinking pretty heavily in the first game, so I'm the CBS college sports network replays it at some point here in the next month. Need to give it another watch before siding up.

I think Bama gets up early, but momentum will shift in the second half.

I am just waiting for that total to keep dropping from 39, and I am all over the over.:00hour

les wanted bama again...

i think he did for a reason...

i think he knows how it ends...

I will be on LSU in this one...like the last one...

think its a very similar game...

hopin for a lsu win for the wager, but worst case I hope we see a helluva game...i have no problem with defensive battles......wasnt as excited for this one as i was bama/okst just because of the rematch idea, but since its here, and not changing, i really think it shuold be a good game to watch....hopefully :toast:

congrats to LSU and BAMA fans....well deserved and both should be here :popcorn2

Take a very close look at
Lsu s record in the superdome. Then take a look at les miles s bowl record at Lsu. 1 loss In each category. There isnt any goddam way the honey badger or any of the other new Orleans guys on that defense are going to let 1 player Richardson beat them in their city. Stop Richardson win the game
It's what simple. Lsu is going to put new Orleans on its back and deliver a win for the ages! The game of the century part 2!

Anyone who viewed the game knows that lsu entered a hostile environment and walked away winners after defeating bama 9-6. When it mattered, lsu made the plays. The rest is kid talk.

I'm pumped up. Wish they could play tomorrow.

dunno if somebody's missing out something ....THIS WON'T BE A REPETITION OF LAST GAME between these two...this will be a NEW strategy ALTOGHETER...maybe same players but different strategies ...truly can you think both coaches don't evolve on what they have seen on the other side of the ball ?
anyway i still buy on LSU even tough Bama made me a lot of green through the season ...but on other level teams:shrug:

I was on Bama the first game...lots of opportunities that they didn't capitalize on, settling for fgs instead of tds. That's what I think everyone saw which would lead a majority to take Bama on the rematch!

Not me...it's bowl time, and I tend to go with the better coach, so I'll be on LSU! good luck guys!

certainly will be interesting to see if..

both teams come out tighter than a tick on a dog ass..

I suspect both coach's will start the game the same way..

National Championship at stake..

Tide win...it theirs..

LSU win...ya'll official are Champs..

this game has all the trappings of a ..

"holy shit...we gotta give Bama the Crystal"

and another agruement ensues because the $$$$$$$$...is more important than getting it right..
