i doubt the fix was on
if it was, it would blow the 64,000 question or whatever it was fix out of the water. it would really destroy not only the show, but probably fox and reality tv in general. i can see msnbc putting this out because they are a rival of fox. and my guess is that the judges wanted chris to win, so i doubt they fixed him off.
maybe there was an error, but i doubt it. chris imo is still going to do the best out of this seasons crop after the show, but for whatever reason, taylor has the biggest fanbase and voters. people like myself thought chris was the best and never bothered to vote. i'm not wasting two hours of my time. i understand the love of taylor, because hes fun i guess to watch make a fool of himself, but in reality this show is about making a record. you can't watch taylor sing on a record. his appeal will wear off.
the whole voting process is lame. it should always be vote for the contestant you want kicked off each week. and barring that it should be one vote per phone or household. its not to hard to implement, but then cingular wouldn't become rich off of text messages and cell phone calls.
so, i don't think it was fixed, but i think the guy with the most potential and who will go on to be the biggest star of the bunch got sent home.
and also, i think it was ridiculously unfair to elliot and katherine that taylor got to sing again on the results show. that is a travesty for the other two.
