"Man records game without express written consent of the NFL!"

Bill Burroughs of Kansas City, Missouri recorded Sunday?s Chiefs-Broncos game on his VCR without the express written consent of the NFL. Burroughs taped the broadcast because he was helping a friend move into a new apartment and was unable to watch it live.
?I felt really conflicted about the whole thing,? said Burroughs. ?I wanted to see the game so bad but I also promised my friend Adam that I would help him move so I decided to tape it. I just hope the NFL doesn?t find out about what I did.?
Burroughs said he watched the tape of the game with his friend Adam after they finished moving Sunday night. ?I?m not sure if watching the game with Adam counts as a rebroadcast, but I hope not because then what it would be expressly prohibited by the NFL. I can?t afford to pay the $250,000 fine should the league be tipped off to my activities.?

In a related story, Bill's aunt, Janice Burroughs, was picked up yesterday in downtown Denver on charges of Fraud. Seems she had pulled the tags off of four mattress sets sometime last year. She nor her nephew could be reached for comment!
