Go ahead, please do. I went with the truth. I guess I was under the impression I'd be breaking the law lying to immigration officials.

Why do you keep mentioning that I told them I was looking to work for a sportsbook? Yes, I did. Do you think that looks bad or something, or is illegal? It's legal, it's regulated by the government, they are everywhere, on every street corner over there. You can just walk into a shop and place a bet in almost every town in the UK...it's not exactly like saying I am going to work for the underground knee-cap breaking neighbourhood bookie.

Anyways, please do enlighten me with what I should have told them, since the truth is apparently the wrong approach.
