.MARQUETTE
The Golden Eagles had won eight straight before the flu bug bit them and they suffered back-to-back lossesd at Georgetown and DePaul. Now healthy and back home (and not to mention tied with longtime rival Louisville in the Big East standings), Wesley Matthews and the rest of the Golden Eagles will come strong and cover this small price at Al McGwire Court. Marquette has won four straight on the scoreboard at home and have averaged just nine turnovers per contest in their last three home games. Don't forget, this team is a solid 22-6 SU on the year.
This is a letdown spot for the Cardinals, who are off a shocking win at Pittsburgh this past week. They're a streaky shooting team (38 percent or worse from the field in five of their last eight games) and primary ball-handlers Edgar Sosa and Terence Williams turn the ball over too often for my liking. This is a big time bounce back game for Marquette and Tom Creen's team will rise to the challenge and win this game by at least 10 points.
