Personally I think people are overvaluing Southern Miss's performance against Cal. I don't think this team will really be up for the Mean Green. They probably think they can sleepwalk through this game tonight, and Joe Public agrees with them. Problem is North Texas has been to this bowl for the third year in a row now, and I expect them to run all over Southern Miss tonight.
Southern Miss players are very underwhelmed to be in the big easy and are looking more forward to get to the french quarter imo then playing a sunbelt team. If you haven't seen North Texas play you haven't seen one of the top 3 most explosive backs in the nation.

They southern players go to the French Quarter all the time there only 80 miles away from the BIG EASY. I like Jeff Bower USM's coach he will have them ready to play.

Syracuse really needs to be able to run and I don't think they will be able to tonight. Gtech is very good aghainst the run and will force Patterson into costly mistakes because he is that kind of a kid. Happy feet nervous and can not win a game on his own. Pasqualoni likely to finally get canned after this game. I think Tech could pitch the shutout.

Looks like bad weather tonight, so I was leaning to Memphis and that simply shoves me into them. Memphis can run the ball very well and I think that gives them the edge tonight. I look for a few turnovers from Bowling Green which is not like them but the rain and bowl spotlight shining may hurt this Qb who has been terrific.

Tomorrow I like Marshall getting the 2. Very strong defense going against a team who gave up 70 their last time out. I can't see them winning a tough bowl game after getting their ball and heart ripped outa few weeks back.

It's these boys vs the world tonight their coach got shitcanned because they played lousy now they have a chance to show that they have some heart, win one for their former coach and get revenge against a team who ran it up against them in a bowl a few years ago. The Seniors at ND have done nothing in their four years and tonight they will go out winners. Ask yourself who has OSU beaten? Who played the tougher schedule? Notre Dame played a monster. I think OSU expects the Irish to lay down tonight. They will but not until the final whistle.
