yyz, no bears an here. however, i feel your pain. being a huge raiders fan i have suffered through many $hity coaches and qb's. take away the rich gannon years and it is bad. a bad coach is one thing, but wasting talent is another. the bears lack talent in many areas. i know this doesn't help, but what if you were a dolphins' fan ?????

you are familiar with Dave W ? how terrible can you be ? anyway the bears just bought a new stadium, and i don't think they can fill it with a subpar team (i could be wrong). i think you will get better, but kordell has to go. gl.

Juaron should have never been here. Their 1st choice cut out to Arizona when the asshole owners of this team tried to force a contract down his throat. Juaron is a perfect puppy for these owners. If dropped, he'll take it as a good soldier. He is a Shoop guy and both should be canned immediately.

This stadium holds the same as the one previous. This time, fans had to pay for their seats with the PSL crap. At least for a good 5-10 years, they'll sell out every game with everyone already locked in. Not that all will show up.

I'm hearing a lot of bad things about the stadium bathroom situation. This was one of the worst points about the old stadium. The fans expected cleaner and larger bathrooms. Didn't happen. You have to remember, Bears fans tailgate for hours before a game. Another thing starting to get around, the big money areas of the stadium are getting premo pirks.

I really enjoyed watching Miss little old innocent Virginia McCasky suffer through the game Monday. :D

Yea i heard the bathroom lines were worse than the old stadium, and thats saying something. It would take you 30 minutes to take a leak before. But my buddy was saying the lines were so long though because nobody was watching the game really and just walking around and getting smashed.

Yea i think its the end for Jauron. Word is they have their eyes on Nick Saban at LSU or George Siefert. They are so cheap though they will probably get some no name from some high school. I cant stand the mccaskey's

What they're saying in Chicago about the Bears

What they're saying in Chicago about the Bears

Some of y'all are from out of the area, so let me fill you in on a few of the comments from the local media in Chicagoland...

The Bears don't have much of a team, so the media here has instead been hyping the new stadium. On Monday, many of the local channels did special pre-game shows, and I happened to catch one of them with former Bear Steve Mc Michael, being interviewed by sportscaster Mark Giangreco, who together had done one of those Go Bears Go shows back in the day (I swear to God even the *kicker* had his own show back then).

Mc Michael: "Well, the Bears have a real drug problem as a team."
Giangreco: (Taken aback, although he knows what a loose cannon Mc Michael is) "What?"
Mc Michael: "I'm serious...the Bears have a real drug problem...in them first two games, they been getting drug up and down the field."
***********
A local sportswriter in the Northwest Herald has repeatedly commented on Bears offensive coordinator John Shoop having installed a "prevent offense."

Regarding the bathrooms, all you heard on the TV was how beautiful the new place was, how they had double the bathroom facilities, yada yada yada. The old Soldier Field was so run down, there was a crack in the wall behind one of the restrooms, with a constant stream of men recycling their used beer. You had to know your way around the old place :)

Good Luck, everybody,
