Just saw from another site that 85% of the money is on the BEARS right now yet the line hasn't moved. Something doesn't seem right. Any thoughts?:shrug:

The linesmaker will not move the line because they need it to stay right where they set it and keep in mind all the AFC -4 bets placed before this matchup was even decided. If you see all the money on the Bears your best bet is to go the other way but I am guessing the lack of line movement is worrying you but in the Superbowl you just wont see a big line movement. Too much money already wagered at a certain price. I hope that makes sense. Goodluck It should be an interesting "show".

I just plain don't believe that 85% of the money is on an underdog . . . in any game . . . in any sport . . . anywhere ! It never is. 85% on a favorite maybe, rarely, but on a dog, NEVER.
Especially not the superbowl which brings out every square everywhere. Plus you have the Peyton Manning factor. His face is everywhere, he is sqeaky clean, the public loves him. My personal estimate is that right now about 60% of the money is on the Colts because of Peyton.

I would normally think most people that don't usually bet would be on the fav but after both games Sunday all of my friends that where at my house for the games thought that the Bears would be favored. None of them bet except for very big games and it's just for fun but they all laughed when I told them Indi would be favored. Most everyone I have spoken to this week is betting on the Bears. Actually I haven't talked to one singel person betting on the Colts.

Rock, I thiink you may have seen the moneyline. I know sportsbook.com and vegasinsider had that for the percentage on the Bears ML. But then again you can't trust too many of those sites to give out accurate numbers. GL
I think that is probably accurate. I am waiting for the line to move down. Maybe they will hold at 6.5 ???
probably wrong but I don't think you'll see the line move to 6'. If it was going to be adjusted I think they would have by now. :shrug:
