Beating a dead horse - but here is another one............

I have to admit I love all dogs but these dogs scare me- There was a pitbull attack 3 blocks from our home this weekend. They live behind my grandmother and her neighbor was walking her dog as she usually does down the alley and their pit came out of the "electric fence" and mauled the dog. They have a sign posted in their yard that says "My dog can make it to the fence in 3 seconds- can you?" The wounded dog has serious wounds and is at the vet being cared for. The pitbull however is still at it's home which also houses a 9 year old boy. This alley is also half a block from the local high school and many many kids use this alley to walk home from all of the local schools. Apparently there is a hearing set for June. This is an alley I have walked many times and will be sure to avoid form now on.
