This is the newbiest of all newbie questions (competing with "What good online books are there?")

My father and his wife want to go to Vegas and stay on the strip. Their main interest is shows and restaurants. I would say gambling is probably #7 on their list of importance behind such things as a comfortable toilet in their bathroom.

So here are my questions:
1. What good shows are going on in Vegas right now. Celine Dion does not interest them. Maybe Cirque, but I am not sure he would get it.
2. Where are the shows that you reply with playing?
3. What is the best website/travel agent to get a good deal?

I think if they were mid-strip with a decently cheap room, they would be happy.

Thanks in advance.

My wife and I really enjoyed "Tony & Tina's Wedding" at the Rio for a show to see, participate in. Lots of fun for an old couple to have there too!

Thanks, marine and kneifl. Most of the threads here about Vegas concern gambling and such.

Tony and Tina's Wedding sounds like it might be up their alley. I'm also going to suggest Mamma Mia (musical to ABBA's songs).

Any other good shows that I might not know about will be appreciated.

Have not seen it but friends of mine have talked up the Scintas show which is at the Rio.

Scintas

I saw Mama Mia in Chicago with my wife and other couples and enjoyed it.
