I've been checking out Tuesday's Chicago and Florida matchup and am leaning towards Florida.

Including the 2003 Playoffs, Beckett is 3-1 in his career with a 3.96 ERA and 1.10 WHIP.

However, he is only 1-1 with a 8.78 ERA and 1.87 WHIP at Wrigley Field. This also includes a 2003 playoff game.

I am looking at a small wager on Chicago based on Beckett's struggles in his only two starts at Wrigley while considering he was hit pretty hard last start versus the Mariners.

Any opinions?

Just found out that Bruce Froemming will be behind home plate in this game.

Some interesting trends when Froemming is BHP

The home team is 10-2 this season (the two home losses were in games when the Cubs were the visiting team)
Chicago Cubs are 7-3 in last 10 dating back to 2001

Is Froemming a Cubs fan?

Small play on the Cubs for me. Had them yesterday thinking they'd get to Willis. Wrong!!! Hopefully today Mitre will come through as another home dog and pitch well again....beat Halladay last time out. Can he beat another ace in Beckett??? We'll see.....

Chicago
sCrUBS 33-29, 18-16 at home
Fish 32-29, 11-14 on the road (scoring .1 higher)

Mitre Home starts 3-0 +3.9 units
Beckett road starts 2-4 -3.4 units

and Vegas opens this one with the Fish favored $155

I don't think they are into donating.
