ok, i said i'd play every bowl game, and that's the only reason i'm picking a side here. i can't find an advantage. well, just one. the 'which team wants to be there more' factor. FIU won a bowl game last year, while marshall didn't play in one. FIU is in their home state, which i think tends to temper a team's enthusiasm for a bowl game. i certainly can't love marshall though, because they turn the ball over a lot and, at least on paper, FIU should have an easier time moving the ball. so... gun to my head...

i think the stronger play is actually the under. neither team is good at converting on 3rd down, and both are ok at stopping teams on 3rd down.
