I posted a RL system on NY Rebs "what have we learned from the first half?" thread at the allstar break. Without getting long winded with this, it's basically playing against a bad team that you KNOW is going to lose the game, based of course on our superior handicapping skills. :142lmao: Anyway, if you combine the RL losses by the 6 worse teams in the league since the allstar break you would come up with an astonishing 47-10 record. These teams are: Cincy, KC, Milw, Arz, Seattle, and Baltimore. What's even more interesting in this record, is that this is combined home and road records.

Tonights record alone was 5-0-1, bc Baltimore was PPD.

Tomorrow I see pretty much the same program.

In Cincy we have Acevedo giving up over 6 rpg and Stl scoring 5.3 rpg with Suppan pitching the team wins 63% of the time. I'll take the RL here.

In Milwaukee we have Wood pitching to a team that can barely score 4 rpg. Maddux beat Sheets today 7-1. Don't think the Brew crew have it in them to score against Wood. Another RL bet.

IN Houston we have Clemens against Arizona. Please...

IN Oak town Mulder will slam the door on Seattle. Nuff said..

IN Tampa we have KC (my favorite fade of the yr.) pitching Gobble whose 5-2 to the over last 7 against a team whose 14-2 vs lefties.

IN Baltimore I like my chances with Schilling on the mound to shut down the Orioles. If he doesn't then usually the Boston offense will score.

Here we go:

STL RL -104
ChC RL +110
Houston RL -157
Oakland RL +105
TB RL +139
Boston RL -141

One last thing to add: If you look into each of these series, you'll find that the combined record of RL wins is 9-1. I certainly hope it continues!!

I guess this why you don't see me post too many of my plays, bc every stinking time I do, it's disaster. This system was 8-1 before I posted and went 2-4 last night and should have at least gone 3-3, but who knows what Stl was doing late.

4 of these games yesterday, I thought, were virtually locks. Cubs with Wood, Houston with Clemens, Oakland with Mulder, Boston with Schilling. If you can't win with these guys on the mound then there's something that I'm missing in my Capping. Please shoot me a reply if you know something I don't. In Oakland Moyer has been shit all yr on the road and decides to throw a 3 hitter against Mulder. In Milwaukee, whose Capuano with a 5-5 record on team whose lost 10 of 13 since the break to beat Kerry Wood. In Baltimore Schilling gets no run support, which is a trademark of Boston to score runs. They let a guy named Borkowski shut them out for 7 innnings. UNREAL!!!

Tough nite, but I'm not giving up on this system.
