I didn't even watch the 2nd half today...this team is a total embarrassment. As a season ticket holder, I feel compelled to vent my anger at today's result. They believe they are a national championship contender and they can't go into Iowa and get a win?

All you hear about Michigan is about all of their talent and blue-chip prospects. Big f_cking deal!!! Looks like another 3 loss season. Isn't that fun!

I'm sick of Lloyd Carr is his bull**** conservatism on offence. The only game I have ever seen them go for the juggular was earlier this year vs. Notre Dame. Other than that it is mistakes left and right and bad playcalling and terrible execution when it is needed most. That results in either a close win or a tough loss, which they are becoming experts in. Now that there isn't any pressure on this team, they probably will go out and destroy Minnesota next week, but I'm hopeful they lose again so someone takes some responsibility for this garbage.

Whoever the fu-k is there special teams coach should get fired tomorrow morning. First Oregon and then Iowa. Sh_t, of course people are gonna score on you with great field poisition. I don't wanna know how they lost that game in the second half because it will probably make me even more angry.

John Navarre is the best QB ever seen in the 1st half of games. When push comes to shove though in crunch time when he is needed to drive his team down the field for a TD, he'll get you to the opponent's 40 and stall. They just needed a FG to tie in the last minute and he couldn't even get them in position. He'll sure look good holding a f-cking clipboard on Sundays in the NFL. What a joke!!!

i hear ya

i hear ya

and IMO they lost game on Punt return b4 first half ended and subsequent TD to make it 3 pt game when Mich had 280-120 yard ad ...

sickening ...

oh yeah, if they even pick up a FD on final drive b4 crap coverage punt, they can run out clock ...

they deserved to lose b/c, just like GA at LSU, you cant go into hostile joint in conf, toy with a team then have no wiggle room at half and expect to win ...

huskies basically did same thing today, kicked 3 fgs in FH (huge FD ad) and then gave ucla one big Def TD to start avalanche ...

many of my betting pals say Im negative when my team craps up early, shoots themself in foot (esp. again on rd) and are, are b/c of it, close at half ... Ive seen enuff to know that spells ATS disaster--Mich did this in spades ... they just arent very good

gl, gregg :)

REMEMBER Folks ..Iowa is a good team. Just think when when we get our starting recievers back...Mo Brown and Ed Hinkle, we will be even better!

They are both expected to be back after the bye week this week and we go to play the Buckeyes in a Big 10 war.

I too beleave Michigans special teams coach should be fired! What kinda punt formation was that? HA!

Don't get me wrong, Iowa is a good team. But it gets very frustrating when your team has more "talent" than the guy opposite you, but you continually get outcoached. Lloyd Carr has a free ride now because of the co-championship in '97, when he should be getting harpooned for the lack of adjustments his team makes. Michigan usually always comes out great in the first quarter, but in the second half, the other team typically adjusts and Michigan doesn;t.

Carr should be getting more heat than he has been. Iowa is a good team, but they can't be that good if they got handled by a squad up in East Lansing.

I'm also a season ticket holder. Say what you want about Navarre or Carr or whoever.......the bottom line in the Iowa game is simple, the punt team and the punt team alone cost them this game. Now, who is responsible for the punt team......the special teams coach!

I have never seen something so stupid in my life. Not only did they do it once, or even twice....they used that stupid formation at least 3 times!

Also, put all that aside......Chris Perry runs to the Iowa 20 yard line in the last minute of the game setting up the go ahead score, but wait.........a flag, holding, bring it back.

Congrats to Iowa fans on the win.

MICH IS A TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT, AGAIN. I AM SO HAPPY I HAVE MISSED KICK OFF THE LAST TWO WEEKS. THE WOLVES ARE A TOUGH TEAM TO FIGURE OUT. CARR IS NOT THAT GOOD OF A COACH. IMO

Not Fawk UM, its FAWK LLOYD CARR! He has no business coaching a program of Michigan's caliber. He recruits well, but so could anyone else who held that job.
