i don't know what you guys are talking about because i saw bellichick hug coughlin in the middle of the field....what more do you want him to do...

I don't understand these stupid comments either Al. If you want to criticize his coaching in this game fine. But the guy literally sprinted across the field to congratulate & hug coach Coughlin. Right just keep hating guys.

Not saying he handled it the best way. But it was more that he conceded with 1,000 people on the field and left. I don't have a problem with it, and I'm the biggest pat hater in the world. Lol.

New Yorkers can't even win with class. Belicheck went to the middle of the field and congradulated Coughlin. What the Hell was Coughlin doing in the middle of the field if the game wasn't over?
Get over it. They played the better game today. Congrats to the Giants.

stevie definitely agree with you..

but all nyers are not like that....:nono:

What does hatred have to do with a head coach leaving the field before the game was officially over

We all have our opinions.

Tacky

Bottom line is that NE and their backers lost their ass ;)

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing myself. I don't hate Belichick or the Pats. I just think it looks childish and petty to leave before the game is over. It's the ultimate "I'm taking my ball and going home" routine... but by a guy in his 50's. Sad.

Why was Coughlin leading his team out on the field with one second left forcing Belichick and my beloved Patriots to conceed the game with time remaining?
I know all NYer's arent bad Al. Just the ones who live there :142smilie

Ari the problem is Bill was told by the ref the game wasnt over long before he got that far. Go back and look at it...Bellicheck just pushes him away and keeps looking for Coughlin. He was intentionally doing what he did knowing the game wasnt over.

That's exactly correct. I never had too much to say about this guy one way or the other all season, so don't call me a "hater".

But everyone sitting at the party I was at all saw the same thing, and we all said the same thing:

That dirty fuker knew there were still two seconds left on the clock, and he didn't want to give New York, and Eli, their moment of glory to kneel down in the "all-so-familliar to New England" Victory Formation!

He figured if he leads his "mob" on to the field, the game would be called. There is ABSOLUTELY no other way to interperate that!!!!!!

Sure, as Coughlin sees this, he goes out too. But he didn't start out there!

When the ref said, "No way, Bub!", Bill said, "I'm outta here.........."

He is a classless turd, and now Mercury Morris can snort some coke, and wash it down with that bottle of shit they been waiting on, and tell his "bride" standin' on the doorstep.........

"Git ta steppin', Bitch!"

I hate Belichik, I hate Pats....despise them...

Its not that big a deal. If he and team had left the field after the play...yeah, totally classless.

The clock actually ran out, then they put one second back on. Fans rushed the field, Bill IMMEDIATELY went to Coughlin and shook his hand and hugged him. I was thinking, ok I hate him but that was actually classy.

Looked like he was trying to say, just run off the last second. I mean, come on....I'll play anything to the very end....but you've got a Manning taking one snap to win a super bowl. 99.999999999% chance of success there.

He conceded, was as gracious as possible, and moved on. Don't make too much out of it....
