Wow. I turn the channel for a couple of minutes and it's down to 1. I still think Cal will cover, but this is a pathetic performance. The funny thing is that if this game had been played in Berkeley Cal probably would have won by 15-20. Homecooking is huge in college hoops.

There's a phrase up here in the Northwest called "Cougin' it." It basically means screwing up, blowing a lead, etc. Wazzu is about to show you why they are the proud owners of that phrase...

And the push... Cal not covering 2 points against these jokers is the biggest upset of the year in my opinion (as far as spreads are concerned).
I didn't start actually WATCHING the game until about 8 to go in the 2h. I would pour gasoline in a festering wound before I would watch an entire Coug game.

cal fuked themselves by not extending their lead from 6 to dd from the 15-10 min mark in the half when they missed 5 ft's and turned the ball over while wazzu was going scoreless for 6 mins (happens all the time).......knew that blow job by cal was gonna force this into a last 2 min type game and it came down to a last possession
i wish i didnt have to watch another wazzu game but unfortunately they play arizona next thurs.........i hope we send that ass clown bennet off into retirement with a 100-34 loss......take your 1950's offense and get out of the sport

Yeah, it never ceases to amaze me how often it comes back to bite teams in the ass when they don't take advantage of their opportunities, especially on the road. And it doesn't even have to be a good team. Hell, the frigging Cougs hung in against them simply because they didn't open the game up.
