1. Look at any consensus site. The 91% came from one of the more popular consensus sites.

2. The line has moved more than a point at some books. I'm currently seeing 8 and 8.5 out there.

3. I think West Virginia's quick and athletic line will fare very well against OU's big and slow offensive line.

4. I'm not worried about White's thumb. If I worried about injuries, suspensions, etc., then I never would've bet Florida State +8. The oddsmakers take all of these variables into consideration when setting a line.

5. I'm glad you think my prediction is wrong. I hope everyone thinks my prediction is wrong. I don't mind being in the minority. In fact, it makes me feel better about my prediction.

15 have Oklahoma
12 have West Virginia
Pretty even action in this pool, ecspecially when only about 7-8 people actually wager on games. This probably doesn't mean anything, but just throwing in any additional info.

Thanks for the information bake, but I'm really only concerned about the people who DO wager on games, not the people who picked OU because they like the Boomer Schooner better than the bearded mountain man.

i am on OU. i expect OU to run on wvu and figure out that wvu off somewhere around the half. if OU has a small lead at the half i expect them to be very successful in the 2nd half.

wvu should have an adv at the beginning of the game, but i am not sure they can sustain for 4q.

we will see. i do not see a hawaii a$$ whipping because UGA was so much more talented than haw. UGA is at this point the best team in the SEC, but there is no way to prove it. i would bet uga over lsu in a heartbeat.

I posted some for mabus stand 2-1 with ok -6 left (ask him) I am not here to give winners out at all. I just come here to read every once in awhile. I capped way before the net and was and still am a winner at it!! I dont need the net for capping. I must admit though sometimes this stuff helps me add or en-large my bets!!

I respect you and any team has a shot on any day. I just wanted to add mt 2 cents. A lot of people are on wvu for the reasons you and others have stated. They feel abandoned, and like no one thinks they can win. Taking on a Boise st role in this game this year. Not say WVU is the talent level of boise (they are above it) but the us against the world mentality. That being said this team is consistant in one and one area alone. This team does not play well in BIG game. I mean oklahoma has choked before but the ability of WVU to have player make a mistake, get hurt, under perform or just roll over is something I can't explain. Some one brought up the backyard brawl and how it was a rivalry game. WVU played so poorly that even a healthy pat white would not made a difference. Now WVU just thought if they showed up they win..... in a rivally game with everything to play for, they stayed in the lockerroom. South Florida same story... they expect to win and when the other team comes to play the don't know how to handle it amd regress......for coaches to players. I am a WVU but they got lucky in the bowl game vs gt and T years ago they were underestimated by georgie built a 35 point lead and almost lost. I don't see WVU as hungry... I see them as a team feelin entitled ...kinda the montra coach rod took after his pay day.

The bad thing the biggest problem for wvu..... boise st....they were us against the world ....okla took them for granted as a pancake....and it was a dog fight in which they lost.....you don't think that has gotten these guys to be focused and try to punch wvu in the mouth?

WVU has a shot, they have speed, mobile qb, misdirection and a chip....but I think even if they bring a chip on their shoulder they cannot hit with the sooners. They will perform better than hawaii vs georgia but same type of game...okla to big on oline opening huge lanes and too fast and strong on defense. Big stage for bradford but the redriver and big 12 championship should have gotten him used to big stage games.

I am not saying wvu is bad... i just have not seen them man up to any challange and they are a tad bit paper mache (sp) at qb.
