raymond,
i like your mizzou pick i will be on that also. I was wondering what you know about rutgers as i have very little knowledge of their team. I see that u and others are on them tonight... just wondering if u had any info. Also, i see that u didnt post on the cuse depaul game. I know depaul has lost a lot since last season, but 11 is a big number to cover against a decent team. just wondering what your thoughts are.

Buckeye I ca n help you on DePaul. They will be a better team than last year. Althought the talented Simmons and Hunter left for the NBA they may not be missed. Those two were only concerned about their futures. This years team features many newcomers who can play. Sam Hoskin is a 6 foot 9 Forward who has a similar game to Terry Mills. Inside and outside. They bring in Marlon London the transfer from Kansas to play small forward. Lance Williams has lost weight and is poised for a breakout year. last years team had too many parts that didn't fit well together. This year they have depth at every position on the floor. Another criticism last year was Kennedy's game management and playcalling. To resolve this they brought in Jim Todd as an assistant to take care of x's and o's. As far as tonight goes dePaul may struggle with the Syracuse zone since they don't really shoot well. However Joe Tulley their resident 3 point man struggled in front of the home folks in Rockford and should regain his touch against the zone. Tulley had his best game of last season versus Temple's zone defense. Also lookk for sharpshooter Drake Diener to get some minutes versus the Orange tonight. DePaul +11 1 unit

On the course!
Drake Diener!

He hails from right here, in my hometown!

His cousin and he were pretty big news here, as their parents held them back in school with the sole purpose of furthering their atheletic carreers.

Of course, they never said that, but the whole world knows what was up.

.

23 points should be covered though, Iowa will turn up the intensity tonight. Alford threw a fight last night in the post game as he was VERY disappointed in the way Iowa let up and didn't play defense in the second half. It was something like 45-18 at halftime and ended up 89-59. He wasn't please at all we gave up 40 points in the second have. I look for a full effort and an easy win for the Hawks tonight. Bosten has no one who will stop Reggie Evens tonight and Iowa , on their home court, will be better rested. They have more depth and the starters weren't need as much last night as Boston played down to the wire. I think Luke will go off tonight after only getting 18 points.

GL..I hope my Hawks come through for ya
