I've never been there, IE and Poon hasn't either as it's outside of the green zone that the Chicago transplants wander about in.

I will definitely give it a try next time I'm in that area.

Prime Bar's Porker is my favorie right now

Burger, pork belly, bbq sauce, onion straws and pepper jack :0074

IE - Kuma's get my vote as the best in Chicago.

The wait times can be long, depending on when you go.

BBC - never been there?

Which is the best burger of the northwest subburbs? Better start a new thread for that.

As for best burgers - Kuma is probably the best 'burger joint' and you can't go wrong with them. Best burger I've had is at The Gage.

Grange Hall is a new joint that is a 'farm to plate' place and is really good as well.

I also think all the places that are doing the toppers, pork, etc., are borderline just making sandwiches as opposed to a true burger.

Is that the place right near the Bean, right?

Is cheese allowed? No toppings. . . on a burger?

yes, it's on Michigan avenue which would make it near the bean. I know I'm so touristy.

Hang out in the city a bit, with me, and I'll show you places you didn't know exist since your self-exile.

Toppers not toppings, big difference.
