JMAC when are you going to be out there? The good thing about
the Imperial is the location. I usually stay at Bally's . I have heard Imperial has nice rooms.

On the course!
Ahhhhhhh..............The Inferior Phallus!

I have stayed there, and must say this:

It's a room!

You are right smack dab in the middle of the nice places, so if you don't mind staying there for just the room, you will be fine.

The food is sub-par, the patrons are sub-par, the look of the place is sub-par..........but you can be at some of the greatest casinos inside of a 10 minute walk.

Just came back from Vegas, stayed at the Mirage.Had a great time.Good pool area with nice scenery. It seemed like their were many single women roaming the grounds. Also very good restaurants, casino had a lot of action at all hours of the day,& was impressed with their sportsbook. If poker is your game,my friend, who is degenerate poker player, rates the room very winnable.Got a package deal from America West Airlines. The cost of the hotel averaged out to $120 a nite.I've stayed at the Luxor & the MGM,but rate Mirage a notch above.

Don't know if America West has packages for your area, but I would recommend you checking to see what hotels they are offering as packages.

Senior year of college (Jan. of 2001) we got three nights at IP and direct flight airfare from Minneapolis for like $250. I thought i was a great deal. It's not the best hotel you'll ever stay in, but it's not the worst, either. And like what has been said before, you have Bellagio, CP, Mirage, and Paris all RIGHT next to you. I've usually stay at Stardust b/c we get comped there but if I'm looking for a good deal, I look for IP right away. The thing to remember with Vegas is that you are always out and about. The room is basically a place to sleep and little more. It's all about location.

May I suggest lasvegas.com. You can do seperate hotel, airfare or combine a package deal right there on the home page. Just plug in dates and your departure location. They will give you
every possible deal out there. Have a blast!
