2008 MLB record 16-12 +3.83 units

Astros +190 1 unit to win 1.9 units (Moehler must pitch)

Great value in this game as I can't figure out why the Astros are such huge dogs. Houston has won 5 of 6 from the Mets this year and are 18-8 last 26 games overall. Mets are 10-3 their last 13, but have lost last 2 games vs Houston. Moehler is 5-0 with a 3.47 era his last 8 outings and has won 4 straight on the road with a 2.31 era. Moehler is 2-4 with a 3.03 era lifetime vs the Mets and Pelfrey is 1-2 with a 6.32 era lifetime vs Houston. Pelfrey is 10-2 since May 31st, but Houston just has to get to the Mets bullpen which has been horrible this year. Let's cash this big dog tonight!

I agree with your assessment. The Mets are at home, have a slightly better lineup, a slightly better overall offense, and both pitchers have pitched well of late, with the BAA for both hurlers around .250.

I"m not interested in this game as I see it as a toss up, but there is NO WAY that the Mets should be a -200 favorite in this situation. My model has this game at Mets -128...mainly due to the fact of home field being around 18 cents.

Good Luck on your action
