I answered that long ago when war was not going so well in question you asked me--what is victory there.

Answer same as then--would like to keep base there similiar to Kuwaitt and other areas in middle east.

Granted you see a lot of political posturing with Iraq elections coming up on timetable for withdrawals--but don't think anyone there that is sane would not want a U.S. base there for sometime considering they have no air force-no navy etc.

However do think it is big plus in the growing confidence Iraq has on their own abilties.
Was quite diff a year ago.

Wonder what it would be like there now had we followed the retreat/defeat plan of Obama/pelosi-reid and other Dem leaders.

--if the were any doubts on them being weak on defence before--it is forgone conclusion now.

I wonder at what point in this fiasco that guys like you will realize that what i headlined in your post is 99 percent of the reason these people hate us. Nothing about our freedom or who's dick is bigger. They want us off of their land and out of their business. Is this that hard to understand? We will win this so called war the day we stop doing things to piss off muslim men. that simple.

Depends in the Obama plan was he gonna use our tax dollars to pay off the same people who were killing us like the Bush plan? If so it would have been the same. I wonder what it would be like if we took Obama's plan to begin with and that was to stay the hell out of there. :shrug: I bet we would have a lot more money in the bank and possibly have turned around Afghanstan by now or got the hell out of there too.
