I don't even know where to begin with this one.
First, thank you for the language lesson. From wikipedia, no less. lol I used the word knowing full well its meaning and its implications. Although I was being generous, it was also meant to be somewhat ironic - the full intent obviously lost on you, and that's OK. Words such as plagiarism, appropriate, and bricolage were also considered, truth be told.
Secondly, just because someone "celebrates" something does not exempt them from ridicule. He continually "borrows" without giving credit. Moreover, I am not in the habit of adoring nor praising documented liars, swindlers, and con men. This is no "knee jerk HATE Trump wagon" reaction. A quick study of the man's past includes rampant displays of racism, bigotry, misogyny, and self-absorption (among many others). For instance, in 1973, the US JUSTICE DEPARTMENT took Trump to court on charges of screening applicants for his apartment buildings on the basis of race! These incidents aren't "fake news" either, but rather, DOCUMENTED.
Thirdly, an error many Trumpians make is assuming that just because an individual is anti-Trump equates to them being pro-Hillary. Why?!! This is such a myopic view of the world, in general, and politics, in particular. Many don't fall into the simple dichotomy of conservative versus liberal. In fact, generally speaking, I dislike self-professed liberals just slightly less than their conservative counterparts. At least they attempt to be progressive, sometimes.
Fourthly, the term "America first," another example of Trump's appropriation, is a well-known slogan used by the KKK and nazis. Research it yourself. Or perhaps you already know.
I could go on, but I'm tired from today's festivities. The largest display of civic engagement/protest in the history of (North) America was a helluva thing.
