Ok, 10 hours into Christmas and I need to make an investment for life!!!!

EVERY toy they got takes batteries, 4 AA here, 6AAA there, 2 D's for this one, 4 C's for that one. If I was at a strip bar this would be a good thing, unfortunately, that is not the case.

Any recommendations (good or bad) on a rechargeable batteries / station? I need something that will charge all diffferent sizes

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
You can use the La Crosse to charge alkaline cells. Just set to charge them at the low 200mA, this reduces the inherent alkaline chance of overheating and exploding. Also, the La Crosse has an overheating prevention circuit like rezap. It also comes with C and D cell adapters.

But charging Alkaline is not a big deal as you can only recharge them about 10 to 20 at most. Rechargeable cells can get up to several hundred recharges using smart features of the La Crosse. You are obviously better off buying rechargables and using them.

Thanksm for the input, not all that familiar with rechargeable batteries, can you use any rechargeable battery in the Lacrosse charger? If so, what rechargeable battery is recommended?

I have seen some good feedback on the sanyo for AA and AAA, what about for C and D?
