Yes, it's the KC Royals! Not saying they're the best team, but best bullpen, excellent hitting club, 2nd best average vs LH pitching behind Blue Jays if I'm not mistaken. Royals are legit and Morales leading AL in RBI's after his 5 RBI game on Friday. Royals are playing crazy solid and have most of their lineup near .300 and Gordon is the one with a lower average which will rise, his catch the other night was incredible banging into LF wall. Royals are tops in run differential as well at +70 or +1.5 per game and this despite having Rios hurt who was crushing before he got hurt, Royals are a team who is solid overall averaging 5 & giving up 3.5 despite somewhat average SP. Bullpen is just lethal as Wade Davis might have best 2 year numbers ever and still 0.00 ERA this year. Sure he'll give up a run soon, but he's tougher than a $1 steak.

Royals starting pitching is very questionable and they don't have a legit #1 although Volquez is tough when he throws strikes and has best ERA in baseball past 25 starts barely edging out Greinke. Hope it's a 95 to 100 win summer for the Boys in Blue! Now, Ventura goes tomorrow as chalk, take the Cards most likely as they have their horse Wacha going and can't see them getting swept, but if line flips and Royals are chalk, I'll probably bite.

GO ROYALS!

I have lived in KC my whole life , Its great to see this younger group ( Hosmer , Perez , Cain , Moustakas ) gel into good ball players . Its hard to imagine Gordon is one of the older Royals and he is playing like a beast ! The Royal's have really generated a bigger fan base ( around 15 -30 year olds) after last years run into the World Series.
