Indiana by a longshot.
No offense, but this is the worst team Roy has had in Carolina that were his own players. Lots of talent, but just young, and at least 1 year away from being a competitive team. I wouldn't be shocked to see UNC unranked.
Michigan has played a much tougher schedule then Indiana and so has Duke.
Florida's schedule hasn't been that tough, but they have BY FAR BEEN THE MOST IMPRESSIVE in just pounding their opponents, next would be Duke.
It pains me to see this, but based on schedule and performance early, my rankings would be Duke, Indiana, Michigan, Florida, Syracuse
UNC teams have been young in the last couple years and that hasn't been an excuse before. Their team is young this year sure but it was younger in 2011 and they won 29 games including 3 in the tourney.
They are also UNC. No excuses and no rebuilding years when you are UNC. Not like you don't have the access to top quality recruits and a coach who knows how to build a team.
Indiana is the real deal and clear and away the best team in the country right now. A lot changes in a few months usually but right now Indiana is unquestionably the top team in the country.
You're high...first of all, the talent on this years team compared to the talent on any team Roy has recruited aren't even close.
Duke beating Kentucky, Louisville, OSU who all are/were ranked in the top5 is by far more impressive. What the hell has Indiana done besides beat a Georgetown team who could only muster up 37points against Tennessee. GREAT WIN
Unquestionably? HA!
well your excuse for UNC was they are young.
"lots of talent, but just young"
UNC has had younger teams and done fine.
if you are discrediting Indiana than you can discredit Duke as well for beating Kentucky by such a small margin as Kentucky is terrible. Notre Dame beat Kentucky by nearly 20, so are they better than Duke?
Baylor also just beat Kentucky in Rupp.
Duke beat Louisville in a neutral sweat box of a gym without Deng who is the best shot blocker in the country.
Ohio State, good team but terribly coached as they have been for years. That was more Ohio State giving the game away than Duke going out and winning it.
So yes, Indiana is undoubtedly #1.
just because they have lots of talent, doesn't mean the talent is as good as years past. same is said about lots of historic teams around the country...
All i hear from you is EXCUSES....
Duke has by far proven and their schedule has done so, that they're the #1 team.
Please tell me why they, IU, is undoubtedly #1...instead of just saying they are...
My Top 5
1. Duke
2. Michigan
3. Florida
4. Indiana
5. Louisville
