Figured airportis and his arrogant ignorance would be here to defend his Hoosiers

the Hoosiers were the best team at the time. not sure why that is surprising. still are one of if not the best. they lost and aren't the best team. pretty sure that happens countless times every year. the "best" team at the beginning of the year is hardly ever the best at the end of the season.

and no they arent my hoosiers. I dont root for a team who I have no affiliation with what so ever, like some. or people who "pick" a team because theyre good.

I think Puke is pretty deep this year, especially once Mason Plumlee gets back from his foot ailment. Talented back court and Kelly shooting 3s for a big man, very dangerous for Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio St or Indiana.

Sleeping giant could be L'ville.

Nothing is surprising. You just wouldn't drop your ego(still won't, and admit you were wrong). Hindsight is a helluva thing, who has Indiana really beat?

Nobody argued Indiana wasn't good or a title contender, but you wouldn't even acknowledge the other teams who are and were CLEARLY playing better and against better teams.

For the record, I like Kansas, Arizina, Florida, Michigan, NCSt as Final4 teams but obviously that's hinged on the brackets and not in same region....common denominator is, PG play

There may be teams with more overall talent than Kansas, but no one plays together as a team better than Kansas. How rare is it to have four senior starters in this day and age? Here are the advantages Kansas has over the other challengers IMO.

1. Best Teamwork

2. Best Defense: They have the best shot blocker in the country (maybe in the history of the game), and they also have the best perimeter defenders.

3. Most Depth

4. Best individual talent in McLemore. I feel so lucky to have this kid in a KU uniform. My word, is he exciting to watch play! Just a silky smooth jumper. It is a thing of beauty. Watching him leap out of the gym for a highlight dunk is always fun, too!

5. Best in-game coach. There may be a few that might equal him, but nobody is better at making in-game adjustments than Self.

6. Experience: All those senior starters have made the journey before, so there will not be any rattling of this team in March. You could see the advantage of that experience in an extremely hostile environment in Columbus. They never looked the least bit shaken. That kind of poise is priceless.
