errr, illimue isn't talking smack... that's actually how he talks and was simply stating be proud of a great Alabama team...

Besides the poor eye sight, bad migraines, and horrific flashbacks, illumie's not too shabby a dude. :142smilie

I'm doing better with the flash backs :scared :scared

And yes, I was stating, be a Homer, play whatever you you want, and to quote the Beach Boys, "Be True to your School"

I have always been a fan of "The Hat" as far as Satan goes.... well I have a problem with him, but he has a great program. I hope he doesn't dash on the team based on his past.

I am just wondering.....

If there might be some professional courtesy in this game between Nick and Old Man Kiffin?

Just a thought?

If Lane runs his man pleaser too much then bets are off.

He did say Bama is the best team in the country.

Last year Tennesse lost to Alabama by 20, the year before 24 TN averaging only 18 ppg in the two games. Alabama on the other hand has averaged 35.

17 point average over two years assures you that my mother's house is in no way being gambled on the Vols this weekend.

Even as the spread drops to 14...

Add to it Alabama's focus and Saban's echoing words of "Finish!" and I dont' see how the Three Amigos don't put up a score similar to 37-13...

I might take Alabama at 13'5

Thanks for the heads up!

tenn loses this game by atleast 24 points...imo:eek:

OH MY GOD???????? Please woodson, not trying to be an smart ass, but there is no way your numbers can be correct. If a team had lost by 24 and by 20 its imspossible to have an avg of 17 pts per loss. My second grade teacher told me the avg has to be 22, plain and simple, on the other hand if tenn had avg 18 per game and bama 35 it is impossible they had won by 24 and 20. Where can I get past results? Really those numbers cant be correct, this thing is killing me. I know Im from Mexico but something is wrong with the math. Somebody had the last results?? Im leanin towards bama.

Geez, I'm here to help but seriously?

2008
ALAB 29 - TENN 9 - Alabama won by 20 points

2007
ALAB 41 - TENN 17 Alabama won by 24 points

Alabama (70) / 2 = 35 points scored avg over the last two years

Tennessee (26) / 2 = 13 points scored averaged for both games

So, taking the TWO AVERAGED TEAM TOTALS OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS it is 18.

Now mind you, it is an average margin of victory of 22.

Maybe that should shed light into what I was stating?

OH
Quick question......

Didn't Kiffen spout off about Saban calling one recuit while on a vist at Alabama? Some type of allegation that was shot out there to stir up a hornets nest?

Although it was not as talked about at the Kiffen Myers situation I would think Saban would want to make a scoreboard statement on it. Keeping it quiet only because he does not want Tenn to see the spread and play to stay within the number.

Cheers
