Holmgren vs Cowher

Holmgren vs Cowher

Nothing is easy as Holmgren is 4-1 versus Cowher.

Guys does anyone agree with this... Both teams clearly run the ball and look to run at all times, pretty conservative, hell extremely conservative coaching. Does that not really look like an under play. Also good not great defenses, in relation to last years superbowl which featured #1 and #2 defenses and went over the posted total?

The "truth" according to Killian?

Super Bowl experience by a handful of players won't effect the outcome of this game. There will be no osmosis in Detroit. Matt will live or die on his own talent & experiences. Just as Big Ben will. My money's on Big Ben. Yours is on Bald Matt. We will see who has the better results tonight.
I'm leaving shortly for a Steelers Super Bowl party. I'll be back tomorrow. . . .
Till we meet again.

You couldn't have watched the Steelers over the last month. I haven't seen anything conservative about their playcalling. Passing on 1st down. Halfback passes. Flea flickers. I wouldn't call that conservative. I don't see them going back to a run oriented offense just for the hell of it. They'll play the way they played to get here. . . pulling out all of the stops.

Good luck!

Well, it's after midnight, and it is all over. It wasn't pretty but the Steelers did what they had to do. I think they were too conservative in the first half. . .and were fortunate to go the lockers with the lead. A couple of big plays were the difference in the game.
I lost my biggest prop play - I expected Heath Miller (played over 3 receptions) to be more involved in the offense, but he was a non factor. I managed to hit over 43 1/2 for the longest field goal, and over 2 1/2 interceptions, so I had a wash on my biggest props. The Steelers -3 (bought the hook) was my biggest play, so it was a good night.
Congrats to the Steelers, Big Ben, Bettis, Hines, et al.
Congrats to the Seahawks and their fans. It just wasn't in the cards tonight.

See you all next fall. . . .
