Spend hours reviewing the matchups, looking at every stat, the pitchers record over the last 5 starts, the umpires, who's got the hot hitter. the weather and deciding that if that game were played 10 times, who should win 7 times and put your money on them.
Then throw all that out the window when you come to the conclusion that on any given night, the White Sox can beat the Twins and the Cubs can lose to the Reds and the Padres can take down the Cards in St. Louis and you might be better off throwing a dart to decide winners or have your dog make your picks for you.
I believe that Baseball is the hardest sport to cap and win, which makes it the most frustrating. But for some reason I won't give up.
