Why in the hell is the NHL waiting to start the Eastern Conference Final on Saturday.........and of all times at 3pm? Why oh why. Then the next game is not until Tuesday at .............8pm?
This bumbling idiot just does not get it. The U.S. TV ratings came out for the NHL playoffs and Arena Football is drawing better numbers than the NHL yet he screws the Canadians with afternoon games on a Saturday. Canadians are the only ones watching the NHL on a consistent basis regardless of who is playing. So why don't you give the network with the best numbers the ideal time slot which would be 7pm on a Sat. night rather than this 3pm bullshit! NJ will have played 1 game in 11 days when they start Game 2 of the playoffs. This guy wants hockey to be played into July, all of us in Ottawa are so damn pissed off, so this is for you Bettman:thefinger :thefinger :thefinger :thefinger :moon: :moon:

Totally agree he is fawking the game up with the rules and this tv bullchit has hurt CBC huge.
It will never be a hit in the U.S so just face it and cater to the majority of the fans. Their is not enough support to the U.S to warrant their favourable scheduling.

Do you think that the US networks would give up their precious prime time spots on weekends to cater to this idiot Bettman?? Get this fawker outta here

I would not be surprised at all to see the Quacks go all the way to the Cup Finals with some help from the refs. NHL could make a lot more $$$$ with the Quacks making it to the Cup than Vanc or Minny.:shrug:
