Worked out great even though my temp only got about 650. Seared 2 mins each side, took off to rest for 30 mins and put back on to desired doneness.

Better have worked great too, 4 ribeyes for $74 :scared

Holy shit??!! What were they... 2 inches thick? WTF are you paying per LB? Ribeye (porterhouse-basically same cut) is $7.99 a pound around here.

I was at a specialty butcher shop and know I paid too much but knew they would be good at the same time.

The good quality butcher shops, far and between, are high around here but it's good stuff.

I paid $9.98 a LB.

I guarantee that meat was better than that PA or NY meat. :0008

I dunno Jack... the stuff I get is nicely marbled and cooks up great...super tender and delicious. I guess you are gonna have to invite me to a steak and beer free for all?
10 bucks a pound??? Vaseline please! :lol:

I could only get my grill up to 550.....Fawk...... seared for 3 minutes on each side, and I am only gonna let it rest for 20 minutes......Before placing back on the grill, See what happens :shrug:

I am going to cook them medium rare and then throw some butter and fresh mushroom on the steaks and place them in the oven and let the butter and mushrooms cook over them :00hour Nice AU JUS :0008
