Couple I like early while I wait for the NFL playoffs to kick-off:
Nebraska +10.5 (1 unit) - Might get burned on this because I don't know a whole lot about the Huskers other than that they're not very good, but Illinois has no business being a double-digit fave at this point. In their last 5 home games they have only won by double-digits once - against Coppin St - and it took a late 2nd-half run to do that. The could only manage a 1-point win over St. Bonaventure (in a game where they were down 7 with under 4 minutes to go) and a 4-point win over Cornell. They're also banged up right now. Starting point guard Sam Maniscalco will miss his 2nd straight game and their best outisde shooter DJ Richardson injured his wrist last game (though he is expected to play). Think this one is close and Illini pulls out a 7 or 8 point win late.
LSU -4.5 (1 unit) - Not nearly as detailed reasoning as above. Mississippi not a good road team and I think LSU rebounds after a tough loss to Virginia.
GL All!
