Live in Waco, support the Bears and know the team. God love em, but I appreciate the extra Christmas money. There is NO WAY they will cover this line. They only have to returning starters and one is RT Guinn who is average. One of the starters is a walk on. Get on these lines early in the season before vegas figures out how bad they are.

Just to clarify - you think Baylor will not stay within 5 and you are taking SMU to cover the 5. Is that right?

By the way, I've seen this line at 4 or 4.5 all morning - Olympic, Bet365, SIA - so if you are on SMU then shop around.

How do u go from posting 5- to a winner @ -3.
I went to the game yesterday, SMU and Baylor both suck. SMU should have had the cover if not for a 3pter with about 30 sec left by Baylor. SMU on the line with .07 sec left, they made both free throws to get to four. Vegas had the line right on, SMU and Baylor would be to teams to fade this year. This game was a brick throwing contest. Worth general admission, that about it.

most baylor backers won this bet. i saw a ton of folks on SMU and most people grabbed it early when it was hovering around 5. congrats to those who managed to get it at 3.

one big 12 team that is clearly overrated is Oklahoma. going to be interesting to see what the line is going to be against Mich. St., although they suck too.

Even Mizzou struggled against Coppin St. Big 12 title should be up for grabs this year. A lot of parity in this league.

IMO, should be recorded as a loser. Some of us that followed the recommendation when it was posted got the game at 4 1/2 or 5.

FWIW, I don't really care what you think. When I saw the opening line in the paper that morning I was shocked and posted. When I called my local book I was even happier and couldn't believe it had dropped to three. I just hammered it that much harder. If you got it at 4-, sorry. I am a loser. If you got it @ 3- or less, I'm a hero. Didn't think it would be this close, so I am sorry for those of you that didn't get a lower line. I didn't watch the game but listened to it and yes, they both suck but Baylor sucks more.

The one factor that changed that game and kept it close was Baylor added a player to the team that used to play football. I didn't have that info. but still would have bet the same way I did.

Hey Spald, I was actaully directing that at Heleanth, not you. Thanks for the encouraging words! The credibility issue gets under my craw big time. Me and Freeze went back and forth all year on the big 12 and it just gets my feathers ruffled. Took someones pick on Wofford against Texas and it didn't come through. Wasn't sure on that one but there are some great early lines in the Big 12 right now! Good luck!
