8-2-1 over the last week and a half.

I like this play.

Mizzou +2.5 (K. St.)
---- Mizzou has the more talented team, with the better coach (yeah, I would take Watkins over Woolridge any day), with a good homecourt advantage, against an average Big 12 team that happens to be 1-5 on the road. Thats the good news. The bad news is the turmoil in Columbia, but I think that is going to be a very overrated aspect heading into this game. The players on Mizzou have had to play with the cloud of doom over their heads for the last year and a half, essentially knowing that Quin's time was soon to come. Now the pressure is off. I think Watkins will open it up a little bit, and this team won't be so tense. I look for them to surprise some people and play well, getting the outright win.
I am possibly assuming too much, thinking that these guys will start playing together only now, but even so, K. St. has played 4 Big 12 games on the road so far this season and each of those games has been decided by 4 points or less (Bay, Col, ISU, KU). This game should be competitive, as are most rivalry games.
